Beginners Question! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3986.msg38724#msg38724
« on: March 15, 2010, 06:05:21 pm »
Hello;

I just started playing elements and I have a question, i got like 7K worth of cards (not much) and my question is what is the easiest way to earn cash fast?

Should i farm like T50 or AI5? And if so can any1 give me a good unupgraded deck to beat those 2 with a fair win/loss streak? (a link to an other thread is also fine)

thx

You should start farming False Gods with this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.msg17181#msg17181) deck

I think you are wrong. Because he wanted to:

easiest way to earn cash fast
"FG farming" is not the fastest way to earn cash for beginners.

I would suggest AI3 farming. I'm novice myself (started playing elements 2 weeks ago) but for me it was the fastest possible way to start making "big cash" and then upgrade my cards to fight AI5/FG with much better results.

The deck I was using was:

Mark of Earth
x2 Lycanthrope
x6 Nova
x1 Arsenic (rare weapon)
x1 Graboid
x2 Forest Spirit
x6 Immolation
x6 Lava Golem
x6 Photon

Arsenic suits the best but can be replaced by Dagger. I was able to win 1 time per 1 minute. Yes, AI3's rewards "are" small, but deck is easy to use, cheap to buy and really fast.

Ehh? With 7k he can upgrade enough cards for that FG grinder, and once you can make a FG killer, this is the best option.

1) He said he has cards worth 7k, not 7k in cash - that is big difference. I would not personally sell all my cards just to upgrade "a few".
2) I've already tried many decks, even the one you linked, and FGs are NOT fast way to earn cash when you have a lot of unupgraded cards.

I have met quite a few people in chat which started with the deck I posted earlier, totally unupped, and I can tell you that in 3-4 weeks they already have loads of money. And I'm just wondering, how could you have "tested many decks" in only 2 weeks? 10 games each? That's DEFINITELY not testing.

Well I kind of lost 10 matches in a row with that deck (4 upgrades) so I am not to sure about it, haven't got a win yet.

loads = how much?

I spent my 1st week learning the rules, playing with friends, finding the best solutions. Then I've found the deck I listed. After a day of playing with AI3 I was able to upgrade all 7 of "the needed cards" for the Scaredgirl's deck in your link. But it was not enough to my taste. I tried playing "many" times with lots of failures for a few days then returned to AI3 grinding till I have at least half of the deck upgraded. Now after 2 weeks I have "many" cards upped, included almost all in PuppyChow's one. which gives me much better results with FG - both in speed and rewards.

I do not know how it is compared to "your people" but personally I think it was the better way to "sacrifice" more of my time with AI3 to let me start better and faster in AI5/FG.

And now my AI3 grinding would be even better as rewards for spins increased.

Well I kind of lost 10 matches in a row with that deck (4 upgrades) so I am not to sure about it, haven't got a win yet.
As I said above: FGs are not easy with many unupped cards, even with this deck. Try my way of earning coins. I think you will be more satisfied with results.

try playing it on HB's (lvl 5) first to get a feel on how to use it. Also, read the strategy listed there very well. You need lots of knowledge to farm the FG's.

Hey I've seen that AI3 deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1874.msg37724#msg37724) before, good choice for farming AI3's with.  : )

I've found that if I take out 1 Lycanthrope and 1 Forest Spirit for 2 Momentums I can farm T50 pretty quickly too, was going to run a test to see how it compared to AI3 before the $$ buff.

To the OP, one bonus of doing AI3 Elders compared to False Gods is that your win/loss ratio will look a lot nicer.

Yes, it was yours. :)

Never tried to farm T50, AI3 was good/fast enough for me.

Also, my strategy, described above, allowed me to upgrade over 40 cards in 1 week. ;)
