I thought of both steal and defrag types as viable, wouldn't help bone wall though, perma/shroud/dim shield could be a problem. I do know this, once I went to 38 cards, the combos were a lot rarer, 36/37 seemed its sweet spot. So so the shield or one of the balls will need to go to make it fit.
As far as your results.
Morte is an auto skip no surprise there
Decay, you play a bit smart, you need the full combo single turn so you get a full 56 capable damage, no early SoP without at least the combo or a couple balls, you need the combo out early, part of the trick, is the AI will target your balls and not it's pests with it's fractals preventing decay from ever taking a good hold.
Chaos lord is chance as I said in mine. he can rolfstomp the deck, or get bad combos, and you can stomp him.
I had not fought Hermes, Osiris, (Or Neptune) but knowing those decks, I expect those to become auto quits, thanks for those tests, it helps confirm that the win rate should be lower, probably around 40% instead of 50%. I got to finally play Gemini in the trainer, I won 1 of 3, one OTK and praying for Phase Shield to die. If I had a steal instead, it would have been easy.
So 4 of the 10 you played were auto skips, and although the 2 losses against scorpio surprised me, perhaps I just out rushed it.
I'll add, this is not a beginners deck, one needs to think at all times how to maximize it's potential, as you said, a lot you felt was one card off or a few points away from winning. Did you completely empty your hand before a fractal? Did you know you were planning on an OTK or a Rush as when you start playing dials varies. Did you watch the opponents cards, did you do things in a good order in other words. Since you liked playing the deck and got a good feel for it now, give it another round and see if that win rate goes up.
