I am suprised the AI actually had the intelligence to use it that way....from what i have seen from the AI in matches i wouldn't think they would use it so skillfully.

It isn't that surprising, really.  If the deck consisted virtually solely of photons, fractals, lobos, shards, and hopes, it would have no other way to play.  Photon is the only thing it can fractal, and hope is the only shield it can play; thus...

In any case, congrats on the win, Neofur!  That is some epic poison damage, there...

actually, if you play out something with a higher priority...which is basically everything compared to RoLs, the AI will fractal that and fill its hand up with cards it can't play.

Depends. You can still rush them given a bit of luck maybe less than half the time (I'm guessing the ballpark of 25%-40%). Regardless, with lots of quanta and Growth/Ablaze creatures like Fire Eaters, Golems, or Spirits, you can rack up 100+ damage on a SINGLE target and kill them that way.

Fire Storm works, too, although many rush decks don't carry them around, and so does Fire Shield, except it's not a rush card.

As far as I've seen the AI's play of fractal is quite good; it won't target anything unless it can pay it's cost at least 2-3 times.

i've only played against it once in game against some aether god...elidnis or scorpio. anyway, he targeted an oty. all other encounters were in the trainer where it was mostly played incorrectly as well. this was in the first few days after it went live though, so the ai may have been changed since then.
