No, burrowed creatures arnt considered neutral and the +5 +5 only applies to creatures in the flooded Zone

Are you sure? If I remeber correctly, then burrow allows to survive in flooded zone and the +5/+5 applies there.

Confirmed in trainer that burrowed creatures will survive in flooded areas, but will not get the +5/+5 boost from Shard of Patience.

It is specified in the card text that only

creatures in a flooded area will gain +5/+5 per turn.

How does a card costing Other quanta choose the quanta it uses? Is it random, or will it act the same every time in a specific circumstance?

Random, unless you only have one quanta to choose from.
In that case, it's pretty obvious which quanta pool it chooses.

It also can be any combination of the variety of quanta types you have.
So if you have 8 death and 8 fire, and you play a long sword, it could cost 1 fire and 1 death, 2 fire and 0 death, 2 death and 0 fire.

As an extension, it chooses randomly from the pools, not the quanta. If you have 75

quanta and 1

quanta, it will be a 50/50 chance of either
