I think it's the same.  I'm having the exact opposite effect with my spins.  As much as I'd like to add to my Weapons and Miracles and Squids, I'm only getting Shards...

Bonus spins select randomly from all normal rares in the game (obviously not Nymphs or Mark cards). I believe it chooses 5 rares.

Is there any way to personally speed up PvP? Or is the time delay just ping related?

It's actually usually related to players tabbing away from the game. This slows down or freezes Flash in the worst case, which almost never fails to cause desynchs. Sometimes they'll listen to you if you tell them not to tab away if you actually tell them about the effects. Sometimes they're just too dumb.

Not much faster, but much smoother, as the risk of desyncing is significantly reduced.
Also, by tabbing out, you will waste some time not picking your move, so it do speed up a bit, in that sense.

quick question: i was testing the psion in the trainer (which will make me add a jade shield post haste in my deck, incidentally), and i was wondering.

the jade shield reflects back: drain life, ice and firebolts, shockwaves and lightnings.

i was wondering if it reflected back catapulted critters and/or anything else

Doesn't reflect Catapult or poison. It does work on Unstable Gas though, and a couple of things you'd never use it for.
