Well, theres also clicking on a league then it shows you how much max HP and stuff the opponent has and their rank, so if you see their rank as 10 or below before you decide to surrender or accept the match, youll know if your gonna vs a high ranking person or not. However, if you had asked "How do I know when Ill vs an FG I can beat" (a similar question to what you had actually asked) the answer would be "By going to oracle you'll get an oracle prediction and then you search up a counter deck for that FG." So if your question was along those lines of the example question I gave, then the answer is as linkcat said "random;" because you can't go to something like the oracle and have it tell you if you're next match against a league will be rank # or <10.

A bit, yeah, IMO. Just because they're using popular/good decks for farming to achieve the "goal" of the game, to have all the cards, doesn't necessarily make them "uncreative noobs" This probably isn't the greatest question for this topic, as it's a bit of an opinionated answer. Perhaps they're just using the farming decks to get all the cards so they can make fun, new decks?

honestly, I first heard of swallow, pdials, and other farming decks on the elements chat. I think I just felt that it was, in a way, almost cheating. So... no, I didn't actually. Its not as if I use a single deck, play with it a few times, take a few cards out, put a few cards on, maybe see if it can defeat firestall or DBH, the usual and then discard it and try a whole new deck only ten minutes after I came up with the first.

It is a bit, I'll agree with AD TienzuStorm. Some people just like to grind. I know a lot of newer people might feel they have something to prove to the... Older, lets say, forum goers. There is a feel of competitive deckbuilding here, the need to feel like you can hang with people like Higs or Will. But that should be eliminated, because everyone is equal here. Some of the greatest can be beaten by the weakest, like David and the Giant.
