As mentioned, Stone Skin is the only exception. The pump Bolts do damage first, then check for quanta.

So a 10 quanta Fire Bolt does 6 damage, a 10 quanta Ice Bolt does 4 damage (and gets +10% chance to freeze), a 10 quanta Drain Life does 4 damage and heals you for 4, and a 10 Stone Skin gives you 8 current and max HP. This, of course, means that Granite Skin gets you more total HP if you plan to spam them in one turn since it costs less.

I clicked PvP1, and something really weird happened. No player name displayed, and over my opponent's deck, where it normally shows the number of cards they have left, it just displayed "NaN". All of my cards were blanked out, with a small infinity symbol where their quanta cost normally is. I was supposed to go second from the coin flip, but as soon as my opponent's timer ran out, I lost. Has this happened to anyone else?

I tried to put in a screenshot, but it didn't work, so I must have done something wrong 

Is this PvP problem something that can be fixed? Or is there a problem with the etg server?

This is a known issue. Unfortunately Zanzarino (the developer) is not around at the moment. PVP1 is therefore broken for the time being. PVP2 and Duel work fine though

Alright, so I signed up for brawl and it says that I'm a Card Designer. So now what? When does the actual competition start? Or has it already started and I've screwed over my team?

@any previous/current CD, would greatly appreciate some information as to how this role works. I understand that I make a card each round based on specific limitations, but where are the instructions? How long is each round? Et cetera et cetera.
