Steal does not care, because a stolen sundial still keeps your creatures from attacking.
FALSE
The AI will Steal your Sundial just the same it would Deflag it and with the same priority to rob you the chance of drawing a card.
Testing in trainer, I'm getting some really wierd results, but two things stand out:
1. With no creatures, the AI would rather target a pillar than a sundial, with either deflag or steal.
2. With two damselflys, and my side of the board being the same in each case, the AI deflagged my sundial, but stole my shield.
This shows that the rules for steal and deflag are not identical. However, it also shows that the AI does seem to want to help its attackers by stealing the sundial, even though that doesn't actually work.
Testing in trainer also shows that the game has had a major update, so I'm going to play catch up before I try figuring out sundial any further.
So, If I understood what you guys said to me, if I use "web" on a devourer, he will not be able to absorb quantas. Right?
No, web only removes the "Airborne" passive. Other passives, such as a devourer's "Devourer" will not be removed, so the devourer will still absorb quanta.
