idk, I think talking hypothetically about this is sorta pointless. Its more of an issue of Ill make my decision on a card to card basis. If I see a really awesome idea, I wouldnt say it shouldnt be put in just because its a human, however, the average ideas that I would normally say why not to, I would say no to if it was a human.
If someone suggested to add a Death Star or some huge mothership with laser beams to Elements, and let's say his idea was really awesome and well thought, really balanced and perfectly designed, would you agree to add it, or would you be against?
I would say no, because it's a freakin Death Star ;]
I think that some things should not be added no matter how awesome they are (if they are too awesome to be put down, simply make another game with these ideas, but don't force them into Elements).
Deciding on a card by card basis can be harmful to the overall feel of the game.
If you decide on a card by card basis and let's say suddenly a lot of great ideas for zombie cards appear (eg. zombie dragons, zombie wizards, zombie aliens, zombie ninja, zombie robots), would it be alright to add 20 new zombie cards to the game simply because they are all awesome?
Anyway, the solution is really simple.
Ask Zanz.... or change any awesome human card ideas into awesome non-human card ideas. I cannot think of an idea that would be impossible to change that way. I mean... even if someone suggests an awesome hero Barack Obama Paladin card, you can change it into an awesome hero Bar'ruck Ubam-er Fallen Elf Crusader
