I've been playing Elements off an on for about a year.  By now I have upgraded RoL/Hope and Rainbow decks.  At this point I pretty much just play the FGs and while I win a bit, the chance of getting an upgraded card on a spin seems too rare.  The electrum payoff from wins seems to keep me about even (considering the cost of all the losses).  I really enjoy this game but it seems insurmountable to me to get more upgraded cards.

Can I get some real solid advise on how to get more upgraded cards?  Is it really the case that I'm supposed to grind FGs for endless hours (perhaps this is why the game endures) or are there secrets and tips that I'm just not doing?

I'd appreciate the tips.  I'm just not sure I can stomach playing or hours to get 1 upped card worth 1.1k at the bazaar when a new upped deck is going to cost me ~40k.

Thanks.  I appreciate the tips.

There's no need to mindlessly grind, enjoy the game.

Experiment new decks, take statistics on your various decks, there's always room for improvement. Explore the forums a bit more.

You'll be surprised to find that the more you enjoy each second of the game, the less you'll see it as a mindless grind and the faster you'll be getting upgraded cards. ^_^

I am not sure how you are ''about breaking even'' against FG's! Losing happens, I know. But you should win electrums as well as cards. A rainbow can do that. I skip the bad Gods sometimes, but I make up for it with other wins and EMs. 120  :electrum is a lot. Your shards heal before the weapon strikes. When you are winning easy, you always have to make sure your weapon gives the final blow. If that doesn't work, always antimatter the last enemy creatures rather than the first. That way you have at least a shot to get to 100 HP when it is your turn.

You should never farm the FG's endlessly. There are other ways to play and you will win games more often. You probably barely notice you won't win as much  :electrum.

It's much more fun to try and think of something. At least then you're motivated to win some cards. I can't see the problem you are having. I love winning more cards. After a few matches I usually have 1 to 3 uppeds.

Anyway gl
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.

Razan, there are several other anti-FG decks that are fun to play and which you should try building. I generally switch between several different FG decks as I fight them, to keep things interesting. Have you considered an Eternity deck or a Neurotoxin deck, for example? Both can be very effective against FG's. You should be able to find deck codes in the decks section of the forum.
