All you really need to learn to be a good General is to spend some time looking through War archives of the teams that have been successful and those who haven't. The most important quality in a General is a willingness to put time into the event. If that's not your thing, compete in Trials and then appoint a General. That's what MrBlonde did following Trials 5 and what deuce indicated he might do above. Blonde enjoyed Trials but didn't want to compete in War. I've always felt more people should take that route.Fwiw, Poker, if you came out of Trials on top I think you'd make a fine Master.
I'm giving up my position. I like to be in war. I just don't like to be a general.-Maybe next trials I'll run again for mastership.
