Anticipating Trials

As War draws to a close, many are looking forward to Trials and declaring their intentions to become the next Master of their favorite element.  Are you going to attempt to secure Mastership, or just avoid Trials altogether?  It'll be interesting to see who is planning on participating in which Trials/elements. 

I'm hoping to do well in Time Trials.  How about the rest of you?

One last thing. Some people might think they are not "worthy" of becoming a Master so they skip this event. Please don't do that. This is all just for fun, and shouldn't be taken too seriously. If you think this kind of event would be fun, I order you to participate. Like I always say, if you manage to take a title from that Master, that alone proves you have earned it.

If there were good prizes, I'd give it a shot; otherwise I'll just watch and wish the best of luck to the participants.  I don't need any fancy titles or icons or anything, just marks and nymphs :p

I don't think there will ever be in-game prizes for winning events like Trials.

All you really need to learn to be a good General is to spend some time looking through War archives of the teams that have been successful and those who haven't.  The most important quality in a General is a willingness to put time into the event.  If that's not your thing, compete in Trials and then appoint a General.  That's what MrBlonde did following Trials 5 and what deuce indicated he might do above.  Blonde enjoyed Trials but didn't want to compete in War.  I've always felt more people should take that route.

Fwiw, Poker, if you came out of Trials on top I think you'd make a fine Master.

I'm definitely going for Master of Light.  It's something that I've always wanted to do.
