everytime i use a deck that fails against CC and im facing Lv3s they have CC decks (specificaly using owls eye as i used adrenal frogs) then i switch to a shreiker rush and i get the same Lv3 4 times in a row (light mark uses crusaders and wings which makes my attacks useless) so is theres some sort of AI thing that just selects opponents decks that counter mine or do i just have awful luck (i do game design myself so i know how hard it is to program AI counter selection but if it is completely random the chances of this is very slim)

This is purely a matter of luck.

There are only 13 different AI3 decks (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17934.0.html), so it's fairly reasonable to eventually face the same deck several times in a row.

ok the deck im using now is suceptable to CC and sheilds...out of the 12 Lv3s there are ive only faced 3 in the last 20 minutes and they are basically all CC and one that used silence and phase sheilds and although i beat them most of the time im just left to wonder...what is going on?

Most AI3 have shields and CC.

There are some really good beginner's decks to counter AI3. There are different approaches. For stats on non-upgraded decks there is a good old link for you:

The first two decks are great, but you need the 1 arsenic to complete those decks.

I have a great deck that works well against them i just find it anoying not getting a variety of the AIs
