Eternal Phoenix is quite difficult. I'm 2 for 4 against it, but I was also quite lucky. My first match against it was very, very close; I managed to pull off the right combo just in time. My second match was failed; Phoenix rushed me waaaay too fast. My third match was also quite close, but I managed to win. And I just played it again with a horrible draw and quit.

Can this deck even beat eternal phoenix though?
It doesn't have any permanent control and it looks like it'll deck out real quick.
And I'm sorry, I just remembered there was a search function.

It looks quite sound. Who needs permanent control against Eternal Phoenix? Every time he overloads on Phoenixes, just drop a Bone Wall, a Graveyard, some Condors and a Thunderstorm. Then, keep Thunderstorming. :) It's quite fast, but it really only works against that kind of deck.

Does it work unupgraded?

I guess, but it's probably a good deal slower and weaker. Lightning Storm costs more unupgraded and Graveyard will not spawn very strong creatures, but I guess it'll work.

But there's only one way to tell for sure. Try it, man!

Ugh, one problem. I accidentally closed the elements tab I had up.
Grr. I wish it didn't reset if you refreshed. But if I ever get an early warning again, I'll try out the deck. Would you mind directing to me to where you found this deck and the other ones that can be used to defeat the false gods? Or did you just use search?

Here's where I found the deck.

This has some tips on False God strategy, but it doesn't go into individual decks against the false gods. You can post in these threads asking for specific god decks, though. I'm sure the community will be more than happy to help out.
