I don't really think your experience is typical. For example, it seems like you've had some basic misconceptions about the way that the game works.

It is not particularly hard to start from scratch and get to a state where you can farm AI3 for electrum, and then graduate onto a False God deck. T50 is not really required unless you are rare farming. Admittedly, getting rich in a timely and efficient manner is easier if you follow guides, but a lot of the principles are obvious even without looking at the forum.

The competitions that the community runs are very much geared towards new players for the most part. Even War, which is one of the biggest and most prestigious events that the community runs, has space for newbies as Rookies or in the Underworld. There are lots of tournaments run weekly, most of which are unupgraded only.

I can understand if you are frustrated because you seem to be struggling with the game, but believe me - those people who are "average" started in exactly the same situation as you did. There's no need to rail against them or demand that new players be "compensated" - the game's learning curve is not that terrible.
