Hey yall, just little ol' me here putting a complaint about some events such as THE WAR.

tournaments and the war here are made for "everyone", right? oh soo very wrong you people are. I come to realize that those who part take in such events are highly strong people, may i say element's strongest. and leaves us little guys with little cash and little means to get a less than half descent deck in the bottom of our black and lightless pit of lousyness. I insurge myself to see that us who are oh so weak constantly get weaker because of the ever increasing marge between the "average" player and the weak ones.

why are we not compensated, why are we left untouched by the awesomeness of being "average" and getting better cards. such a feat is only realiseable through farming the T50. but there is the problem! the T50 is the 50 best player's current deck against who you are playing. is this some sort of ranking segregation? Those in the T50 have amaisingly powerful decks (dont get me started on upped life rush) and are tough to beat for the little guys. you might tell me that some leave farming decks out for us, but this is rare to encounter one in contrast to the rest. this is why i suggest that, for the players bellow 5000 of score should benefit of some sort of card or electrum compensation to help them get some better deck. As for me, i was increadibly lucky to ever get out of the "bellow score 150" and "score 200" caste. It was only for JDMT's precious help that i am now, for the very first time in more than a dozen tries, in the "over 2500 score" caste.

Please, don't leave the little guys down elements, help us get better, please, for the sake of fun, don't leave us hanging.

Pffft, you're lucky only generals and lieutenants are allowed to use upgraded cards. It takes at most 2 hours to farm up the average cost of a War Deck, ~700.

This very feeling of hopelessness and despair was the very reason that Scaredgirl created the underworld (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13924.0.html) part of the war.

Almost every pvp event is unupgraded, I sometimes get to think getting much score and electrum is totally useless in pvp events, since I won't get to use all those awesomesauseness anyway.

Next to that they added underworld and rookies in the war, just to make sure everyone would have a chance of participating, believe me, it's all a matter of perspective. Everyone feels like they are pulling on the short side of the rope. I'd like to see more upgraded pvp battles rather than less, but know that for the sake of giving everyone a chance we do almost only unupgraded.

No one forces you to grind a tough ai or top 50. Just grind what you can grind, we've all been through that phase. With a better deck you can slowly take on tougher opponents and increase your electrum income (up to a certain amount).

I think "average" is a relative term here. I have 400k+ score, close to all upped cards and a chunk of electrum... and I am average by your definition. I say that because I don't play in many tournaments, I am not in the WAR and I occasionally PvP. That's not to say I don't understand the game and it's mechanics, only that I have been nit-picking at the game for a long time and I just happen to have nice results.

Elements is a game of time and patience, but it doesn't mean one can't compete on an even level with those upper eschelon folks. Keep pluggin' away at the grind and playing in weekly tounaments and you'll find there is more to this game than just score ;)

well, it still is a sad feeling for those who can't do much with their decks. with the war, you better have a rush deck beyond belief to actually be good, or a stall deck. and for your information, before JDMT helped me out, i never had more than 400 alectrum at any point, after that it went always lower and lower until i had deep negative score. at that point, i could only scrap everything and begin anew, with less, yet more than i had.
If only you had seen my situation, i think you'd understand my point of view more than you do now.

spelling: jmdt (M then D)

Well, War is a unique time ... most of the time the Top50 decks are actually farms, which are built so you can beat them easily and get rare cards.

It's really not that hard to get an upgraded deck that can beat False Gods ... basically all of the players who are experienced started out by playing against AI3 and False Gods ... and that has nothing to do with other players.

You can get a lot of complete advice on how to gain cards and improve your deck, either from players or from tutorials on the forum and wiki. Just look around a bit and ask questions; jmdt is a good example, but there are actually a whole lot of advanced players that will help you out if you just ask.

There was I time where I felt like this.  What I did is join the forums, become active, gather enough money to build a popular and effective deck, and farm AI3.  Now I have over 13k score and 2k electrum with a few upped cards.  If you really like the game, then youll stick with it.
Think you got what it takes?  Test out your skills in some Tournaments! http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,77.0.html

Well, I'm still relatively unknown, but at 37k+ score now and rich enough to get quite a few fully upped decks. I never really felt like this because I followed some of the helpful guides on this forum. Maybe that's what you need to do. Also visit the decks section, there are some very talented deckmakers there. Maybe you'll even try one of my decks someday.  ;D
