In arena today, i fought a deck with 1HP and just managed a win
2 things
1st ..Thanks for the deck it is really nice to get a fast easy win when your grinding
2nd How does someone make a deck with 1 HP ? is it legal ?

i guess they don't hang around for long as it will drop below 500 fast

Arena decks lose health over time. Since the minimum health is 1, there are some decks that have been around for a while and are at 1 HP.

By day 8, your deck will have 1hp since it'll be -256 and the maximum you can have is 200.

I had am embarrassingly interesting loss to a 1HP Arena deck yesterday.

-Started without a single creature but a lot of Supernovas and a QT.
-3 Turns in I draw my first creature - Lava destroyer, but not before it plays a Shard of Divinity, bringing it's HP up to 17.
-Lava destroyer deals 7 damage, AI plays Maxwell's Demon. Lava destroyer deals 9 (grew) bringing the AI down to 1 HP before it gets Paradox'd.
-I draw Otyugh and play it, unable to eat the Demon I end my turn. AI plays Diamond shield and random low-hp creature.
-I draw Ulitharid and play it. I eat the low-HP creature. Unable to get passed Diamond shield for the last point of damage. This continues for 2 more turns until my Otyugh is at 3 damage and will eat my own Ulitharid next turn if needed to win.
-AI rewinds my Otyugh and uses another Shard of Divinity.

Can't remember the next few turns but more rewind + black holes + shards of divinity lead to me being unable to deal enough damage and unable to play Otyugh for crowd control to overcome his now higher HP and increasingly many creatures. Anyway suffice to say, if the AI gets a good draw and you get a not so good one, you can still lose to 1HP decks.

losing to 1hp decks isn't that surprising. It is very embarrassing though. 1hp decks can pull out SoDs and deny you of your quanta and cards or if you get a really bad draw while they rush you to death. If it has low health, it means it's been in the arena for a long time, which is testament to their power.

With 1 hp on its first turn it played divinity and had 25. Some few turns later it had 500 hp due to Stoneskins and Divinities. Coupled with sancs and miracle and Hope with 7 or 8 rols out i decks out with about 98 neuro counters on it.

Pretty fun to watch.

Hmm nope, found Chemos though. Bonestorm warned me it had tons of SoDs but I ended up with a 2turn em anyway. :V
