Found an Elder with the exact same strategy as me. Only difference is the rustlers and the pendulums, though everything else was the same.
The whole game was one big stalemate from about turn 6, and I only lost because I ran out of cards.

Well if that was your weirdest game wait until you try a Diss Shield stall with Sancs. xD

Disclaimer: Don't do what I suggested. But you will have weirder games. I myself have lost because of my previous statement, and subsequently felt like a doodyhead. Mainly because I knew that would happen and yet was still surprised.
