If you created an alt account today and really set your mind to it, how fast do you think you could obtain a fully upgraded FG grinder?

We hear a lot about the grind from new players but maybe the grind is just unnecessarily long due to disorganization.  I wonder, if a pro grinder (a la willng3) sat down with determination and the right plan, we might learn a lot about the mountain that is said to stand before new players.

I imagine many players would use a strategy similar to what's in the tutorial.  But if not, I'd like to hear what you'd do differently.  Maybe you would take a pulvy instead of a lobo at 500 points and grind AI4 instead of AI3 as you work towards upping Limitless Speed instead of RoL/Hope.  Or maybe the real key to noob wealth can be found in plat.

So let's hear it.  This is the spot to put ideas, wagers, and outrageous claims that will never be backed up.

Never tried it before. The hardest link would be from FrOTKal to Limitless.
(though if you grind Silver, you can probably reach 9k easier than grinding AI3 while collecting the rares for Instosis)
Just a rough estimation:
0 to 500: a day
getting FroTKal: a day
Getting Limitless: two days
Collecting SoR: three days
Getting Instosis: three days

10 days, assuming intensive grinding.

The ultimate way to grind is the following.
1) Donate 5$.
2) Get a Nymph
3) Sell the Nymph
4) repeat from step 1

Seriously, you will have a full set of upped cards in mere days!

Let trolling aside, I don't think there is a cheaper & faster way to grind FGs than RoL/Hope with at least 6 upgraded Photons/RoLs.

Although this was a while ago, when I had more time, I went through the stages in ~2 weeks, though it most likely took longer than Absol because my primary erectrum source was Ai3s until I built Rol/Hope, then fully upgraded that (which is still a semi-viable FG grinder, I just didn't want to take the time to get SoRs/Ds/Sacs on that account.

On the other hand, when I first created my account when I started playing, I went from Ai2s for a while, then (when I discovered forums/mono death rush) Ai3s for a bit, then I spent the next month or so grinding with Liquid Antimatter before realizing there were better decks, and I went to Rol/Hope, and then eventually upgraded that fully. That whole process probably took 3ish months.

Basically, it's not too hard to achieve a fully-upgraded deck from nothing, but you have to have the right decks, ideas, and know-how. Seems like newbies could easily achieve that if they discovered the forums/different source of decks right away, otherwise, like me, you might end up grinding Ai2s with the starter deck for a looong time.

I'd say it shouldn't take more than a week if you seriously ground (2 hours a day perhaps) and you knew what you were doing. If we mean a fully upgraded FG grinder as around 50k, then I don't think it'll take too long once you've started grinding FGs with limitless speed.

I like to start with mono death. Play 100 PvP1 games right from the start, it should net you around 5000 score and enough electrum to buy a proper semi-upped FG deck.

Also, play the Oracle FGs.

I tried that a while ago. 2 days with mono death (picked arsenic), level 3 + pvp1, to get the upped RoL's & 3 Lobo's.
One can jump over the n00b-state very quickly.

My alt is lvl19 for several months now...in about 850 games with 376 wins/493 losses rate. Has a semi-upped TADA bow(unnuped QT, 2disc).
It started as an experiment to see how fast I coud gain a deck that can EM AI3 and have some chances in lower arena. Started farming FG with flay-em as soon as I made some money to buy the available cards and getting pulvie as the Quest reward. Dropped to serious negative score, farming FGs...Dont remember running out of funds to buy-in the FG game. Sold every card except what was needed for TADA bow.
As soon as I got the hitters in the bow, farmed AI3 with an SN creature bow+BH with ease(pre SN nerf) and got 2 disc to make it TADA-ish. EM victories in AI3 meant a 5-6 games for a later lvl. I think at lvl19, one EM in silver arena is half a lvl now.

The whole deal did not take more than 10days to 2 weeks iirc. I definitely recommend starting with Flay-em asap for some money off FG, despite the score diving negative (for lvl 19 score is 4k... i had close to -6k). Going for TADA is not a bad choice either since AI3 and bronze are farmable in order to get some shards building up. Siver arena, AI3 with for some EM wins can boost your score fast back to positive.

My current advice is not to go for an upped FG farmer, flay-em would do imo. Aim for something that can earn you some shards from Bronze arena and then money will start building up.

PS: never tried the pvp1-2 for farming, cause I find PVP game too time consuming for effective grinding

A lot of this.  Mix it up with Bronze+Silver Arena and AI3 when you need a break.

A few years playing the game (though be it casually), a year and a half on the forums, and I only fully upped RoL-Hope recently. And I can't even grind consistantly with it because I have terrible luck and/or am not playing the deck the best.

This thread makes me a sad Naesala.
