It's tempting to aetherfish to make a new deck with Thunderstorm since it's a strong card and it has a decent Air card base. It ponders, but mostly blubs.

DG did 40-ish damage to aetherfish before it got a Hope up at 6 DR. By 20-ish HP, it drew another Ray and its first Firefly. Smooth swimming from there :>

Over the course of the past 5 days, ImSoGassy has made considerable progress. As she now has the cards necessary to set out for (mostly) unupped FG grinding, let us now take a look at some of the more meaningful events that have occurred throughout the week:

Spoiler for Day 1: A Brand Newb Adventure:

On this day, ImSoGassy  obtained her first rare, her first upgrade, spun the Oracle right round for the first time, and reached level 10. AI3 were still proving to be somewhat challenging.

She later regretted not upgrading her quanta producers over the Wyrm.

Spoiler for Day 2: Not 2 Much Accomplished:

On this day, ImSoGassy continued her relentless assault against the mean, mean Elders before bravely setting out to challenge the Bronze League for the first time. She succeeded in killing off a few of the less sophisticated decks and even managed to win her first Shard, a Shard of Freedom no less! However, as it became more apparent that Mono Aether decks and their Dim Shields would give her problems, she returned to fighting Elders to gain a few more upgrades and speed up her deck in the process. She is looking to create a Voodoo FG killer, but is still ultimately undecided at this point. Today ends at level 19.

Spoiler for Day 3: And on the third day she rested:

ImSoGassy didn't feel like working today, so she stayed home and watched videos on YouTube instead. She gained a Fallen Elf from the Oracle before calling him a fatty and leaving to devour a plate of black beans.

Spoiler for Day 4: A Decision was Made:

ImSoGassy made more progress today than the day before, but the day was overall still uneventful outside of the continuous Bronze League grinding and accumulation of a few more shards. Viewing her card collection, she decided to work towards creating Limitless Speed, as she was missing only two cards from it by the end of the day, excluding upgrades. The Oracle gave her a Colossal Dragon out of appreciation for her comment the previous day before she told him to go die.

Spoiler for Day 5: A New Target:

On this day ImSoGassy returned to face the Elders in the hopes of winning another Dim Shield and Hourglass to complete Limitless Speed. The Elders were very stingy and despite the favorable odds as well as immediately quitting against those that did not have the cards she sought after, she had not obtained more than an Hourglass after 5 hours of grinding. However, remembering the plague of Mono Aether decks in Bronze League caused her to return there with higher hopes. After about an hour of grinding she had acquired the elusive shield and was ready to depart for False Gods.

In other news, the Oracle continues his one-sided shows of affection by presenting ImSoGassy with a Boneyard. ImSoGassy flipped him a bird in exchange, but went on to try and construct a deck with it anyways. She felt quite discouraged after watching it go 1-6 in Bronze League, but felt somewhat better after recalling the successes of the almighty Aetherfish. She will continue trying her best until her final goal is met.

EDIT:  FG grinding proves to be easier than expected, with ISG's first attempt against Ferox proves to be very easy and rewards her with an Elite Cockatrice!

And so, 9 days after the challenge had begun, ImSoGassy's quest has come to an end. Truth be told she could have finished this challenge a couple of days earlier, but as the official slim version of Limitless Speed contains 2 more Hourglasses than the unupped called for, she decided to try and get those. This took two and a half days of constant FG grinding to achieve. As always, a recap of her adventure for these last few days:

Spoiler for Day 6: Becoming a God Slayer:

ImSoGassy had set out with her new deck in the hopes of being able to earn upped cards to push her further towards her goal. By the end of this day nearly 2/3 of her deck had become fully upgraded. Still no additional Electrum Hourglass in sight, as it would appear that Lionheart, Destiny and Paradox have a great deal of fun in trolling the spins by throwing a random non-Hourglass card into the mix every. single. time.

The Oracle gifted her with an Earth Pendulum. "Thanks, fat man -.-"

Spoiler for Day 7: The Quest for Hourglasses Continues:

ImSoGassy was slowly losing her sanity. She had a fully upgraded deck at this point but still the Hourglasses eluded her. She even resorted to grinding Elders again for a while in the hopes of having better chances there before concluding that she preferred her chances with False Gods more. After taking several YouTube breaks she forced herself to go to sleep to save what bit of mental clarity she still had. She had also started officially coining the nickname "Lionfart" after being continually trolled by the FG on whose name it was based.

The Oracle, after seeing how much she enjoyed her gift from the day before, blessed her with an Aether Pendulum. How sweet.

Spoiler for Day 8: Progress Finally Made:

Once again ImSoGassy was not having any luck in her endeavors to acquire more Hourglasses, even after she had decided to start auto-quitting against FGs who did not have the card she desired. At some point, however, she decided to stop this tactic as she didn't like the effects that it was having on her win/loss ratio.

Exhausted and slightly rabid, she faced Lionheart yet again as the False God laughed and taunted her, "Still actually hoping to win an Hourglass? Why don't you just give up and go home?" But ImSoGassy would not be deterred so easily:

"FIRST THINGS FIRST, I'M THE REALEST"

After boldly exclaiming her declaration, ImSoGassy struck down the condescending False God and wrenched an Electrum Hourglass from his cold, dead hands.

In other news, the Oracle gave her a Maxwell's Demon. She avoided making eye contact as much as possible at this point.

Spoiler for Day 9: Journey at an End:

ImSoGassy woke up feeling slightly more cheerful than the days before. After immediately quitting games versus Hermes, Obliterator, and Dark Matter respectively, she once again found herself staring down Lionheart. Whimpering, the False God begged her to just leave him alone. But ImSoGassy would not give up with her goal just within reach. She pulverized the FG once again before stealing yet another Hourglass from him as she left him to cry in a corner somewhere. With this, she had acquired a fully upgraded FG grinder and had ultimately accomplished what she had set out to do. She bid her False God friends adieu and set out to return home.

...but before she reached her destination she decided to stop by one more friend first. As she entered the Oracle's domain she could already guess that what awaited her would not be anything particularly special. Just as this thought passed her mind yet again, the Oracle cheerfully passed her a card face-down.

"You'll like this one, it's really powerful." ImSoGassy flipped it over to reveal that she had acquired a Stone Dragon.

"Oh."

Sounds like fun! BTW Aetherfish, beat your deck by 1 hp because of a top decked wings  8). Looks like Xceed is starting with Death... Xceed manages to troll the AI1's ice dragon with his bone wall. Lucky Xceed also manages to win a... shield. Following the mysterious voice in his head, Xceed manages to defeat AI2's black dragon with a bone wall. Lucky Xceed wins an antlion and a hematite golem from the AI2, and the Fat Man gives Xceed a short sword.

- Won hope from oracle.
- Beat decay with a pharaoh bow and won a siphon life.
- Sold siphon life and upped darkness dragon.
- Upgraded a chaos seed and a fate egg.
- Bought 12 air pendulums to build a FFQ/hope arena deck (I already have 5 queens and the oracle card is hope, just perfect.
- Tried some bronze matches and I got crushed. Guess I'll stick to level 3 until I win some more hope/bonds for the FFQ deck, or maybe more pharaoh for a mono time.
