my bless bow will need tweaking due to cards like EQ but so far, i am happy with the deck. i still havent chosen my rare wep however. i was thinking discord since its useful, titan since its useful, eternity since i have a timebow and eternities are rare, and morning star since i have a lightbow. but i can only choose one . also, onto my 1st upgrade, i have nearly enough to up a card. chaos seed seems like an obvious option but i have enough blessings. maybe a peggy?

"....what." Lyriel can only mutter flatly, as the Oracle summons another Deja Vu to her side. "Don't tell me this is a sick joke."

"Hello!" She whirls around to face a temporal spirit...except this time, there are two - her recent recruit, and the oddly jovial one standing next to him. "I'm Bob, Dalaskion Mideth Dthrem the 6th's brother! He said there was lots of action!"

She refrains the urge to say something profane as she heads out for today's fights.

She's felt oddly discontented lately; dreams of another life seem to plague her, of lives lost, of world ending, of hidden fears brought to the surface. Her next opponent's use of the Undead doesn't help quench that fear. As if to taunt her further he also decides to use time manipulation to restore his first Skeleton to a Lava Golem, strong and proud.

She orders her Mercenary to end the Golem with a well-placed left hook. A Charger's ambush is turned against her as it springs a deadly virus, and a mysterious egg enchanted by her opponent suddenly transforms into an Entropy Nymph. She decides not to comment on the Otyugh's choice of meals today, and leaps on top of an Armagio; the closer she is to the battlefield, the less disgruntled she'll feel. A powerful time bolt speeds by and knocks her Otyugh back into quanta, but her opponent has long sealed his fate since then.

She lets the next few battles fly by quickly and wordlessly. No one addresses her for the rest of the day, but a brief flash of a star in the havens seems to offer her consolation. A small spider skitters up to her soon after, and quietly lands in the palm of her hand. She lets it sit there as she observes the rising sun, wondering of things to come.

An Abomination offers to join her cause at high noon. Perhaps she isn't as alone as she thinks.

Maxwell's Demons have nothing on Gravy, and Otyugh continues to be a lifesaver that gobbles up weenies and eventually fatties. For AI2, this modified starter deck is turning out more handy than I'd thought it would be.

Second AI3 gives me arsenic+mutation (not useful now, but will help me build my rainbow later)

After being so proud of my 5-0 account, the aether AI3 defeated me
Seconds after that, rekt by water/fire AI3.
Aether AI3 is almost impossible to beat with this deck. Lost to it again. Oh well.

I'm not posting that much in general.

She barely remembers when Sister Iris taught her to hunt, but motions are fast and familliar as an Otyugh chomps on a Frog. Why couldn't they hunt turtles? Turtles were slow and predictable. Then again, they were more shell than meat, and-

A wave of silence sweeps over the forest as her words suddenly turn into thin air; the chirps of the birds, the creaks of the mechanical Armagio, her Mercenary's cursing, it all suddenly falls on deaf ears.

A second later, time seems to start again as a few more Frogs start audibly ribbiting. She recognizes the phenomenon as an ethermage trick, but it was just an offside fire; something completely harmless.

Her next battle leads with an empty-handed battle call again. She curses under her breath, but fortunately her opponent seems to struggle with her own battlecall as well. Eventually, she draws her own knife and charges in frustration, yelling "Finally!" as her Mercenary leaps to her side, followed shortly by a hematite golem. Her opponent responds by pulling out an elaborate azure bow, and firing a darkness laced arrow into the golem's side - it's a weak drain vis spell that delays the battle, but even the appearance of a rogue abomination, a cursed buckler, and a poisoned arrow cannot save her opponent. A lofty angel, called in at the last second, is quickly swallowed by yet another Otyugh - she really does wonder how bottomless their stomachs can be.

In the aftermath of a battle, a vampire approaches her, expressing his appreciating of her bloodshed. Thus, the flamboyant Dave Skotadi Batman joins her army, though she suspects her battlecalls still aren't ready to go beyond the reaches of Gravity and Earth, and perhaps Time, with a little effort.

Her next battle is against a Chaos Mage with a fire-eating companion. In his gambit to outwit her, he casts a chaos charm at her Armagio, cursing it with....the forces of gravity. She barely bats at an eyelash at the mage's own foolishness, as his Purple Dragon useless crashes into the Armagio over and over while she pursues her prey.

Stopping by one of the smaller arenas, she faces a watery-faced mechanic who proudly unveils a Steam Machine...only to find he forgot to bring fuel for it to function. A blessing of purity and a Wyrm swiftly move to assist the token photon he'd thrown up as a defense, but her team's coordination makes short work of him. She decides to celebrate her victory by trying to catch a dragonfly with a net, but this earns her nothing more than a few suppressed chuckles for her Mercenary.

As she takes her leave, she runs into an angry Gnome merchant who suddenly decides to attack her out of ire. While the searing walls of flame knock several of her troops out, she commands her chargers to outmanuever the flame, with her dragon giving one final angry reminder to the stout marketer to take out his own anger on the right customers.

The rest her battles are fairly uneventful.

I decided to challenge an AI2 again. This time, another strange thing appeared in the corner.



It appears as if creatures flock to people who are awesome in this world.


As I'm battling, I realize something.

What is this thing? Why are there so many weird creatures in this world? So far, there's a giant bug thingy, a weird green and brown ant/lion/whatever, and now there's this thing.


I beat the AI2. It was rather uneventful. I shall rest for the night. I need time to think about my life choices and why I'm here. Or something deep. I dunno.
