If Gemini isn't getting any Gravity Pillars or Dragons out, you can always start Nymph Tearing his Aether Pillars, then immediately AM/LS them.

Worked like a charm, much more reliable then those crappy Nymph Tears. Don't bother with nymphs at all since they're slow and get lobotomized.

- Drain annoying Spiders (with momentum) if you have no AM/LS left.
- I suggest AM'ing alot of spiders at first to simply stay alive (they die fast with LS).
- Try to AM/LS at least one dragon, for sustainable damage. (2 is even better)
- Dagger heals nicely, enjoy your upped cards!
- Dusk Shield is a great card in general, not exceptionally good here but I had room in the deck anyway!

Unreliable. The spiders are numerous (PU). I had a full hand of LS/AM first, to the point i had to discard one because Gemini didn't play any critter.
Then spammed me with spiders.  Instead of shields/Siphons, use steals.

Oracle not only predicted Gemini today, he also gave me a Maxwell's Demon.  Too bad he lobotomized it right away.

Beat Gemini with an EM, and got three cards :))

Used a slightly modified version that seems to have better quanta balance:

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5up 5up 5up 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606
Admittedly he never got out a lobo, but I would have been able to steal it right away anyways, so not a huge deal.

This works. At first I didn't think I'd get enough damage as Gemini popped a first turn Electrocutor and my Steals were extremely late, but I just barely won on the last turn. If a terrible situation like that ends in EM and two cards won, you can safely say the deck's a winrar. x)

Obviously dropping some AM or nymph for deflag and choosing :fire as mark is enough.
Or just adding a BE, yeah that would be enough. (AM can make anyone eligible for BE).

Just wow.  Deck in the OP lost because Gemini managed a turn 2 Electrocutor and then played nothing but a Phase Dragon afterward.  Talk about there being nothing I could do D:

I've GotP Time seems to work nicely. Should be an easy EM aswell, provided you draw an eternity early enough..

Also firestall works (tried only in trainer.) I used a 50 card stall with 4 firewalls and 4 lobo's. Pray you get one of each early enough. Added 6 sogs, 6 dims and 6 ragepots (ragepots were mainly for the off chance that gemini plays a momentum and TU a few times in the same turn. I'm not sure if theyre much use. Perhaps a few sundials for the time you need to lobo the copies is better, since those work against massive dragons and immortals aswell.) Once gemini plays those massive dragons, your fireshield obviously wont do you any good, so this is when you start playing dim shields and calculate the dmg from the bolts for another easy EM.

After spinning up Gemini in the oracle and spending 20 minutes poring over her deck and trying to devise a counter, I had an epiphany: if you never get Gemini down to 1/2 HP, she never spams PUs.  She might cast 1 if it's the only alternative to discarding a card, but she saves the spam for some percentage of her HP.

Thus: a one hit kill deck skips all that.

Now, you can't really rely on shields, and you need a lot of healing, and some way to limit her offense without shields would be a good thing.

Inspiration: Veen's Vicious Viotech (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27598.0.html), slightly modified, sounds like it meets the criteria!

I tried it, and I admit it got hairy there -- I danced between high-50s and low-teens of HP for about 7 turns before the second Antimatter pulled through and nailed her second Massive Dragon.   Also, because I removed ALL of the shields, the field full of Malignant Cells did a lot of damage on it's own.  So, with one shield added back in, may I present my Gemini-specific variant of Veen's Vicious Viotech!

Play is straightforward: play Shards, Antimatter, and in an emergency the Heal to stay alive long enough for Aflatoxin to fill her field with cells.  Presto, no more spam.  Then draw out the deck, and play, in order: Condor, Fractal, Condor, Condor, Condor, Condor, Condor, Rain of Fire, Sky Blitz, Chimera.  Result in my case was a 264 ATK momentum beast that ate a False God and burped dust.

Gemini is perfect for this deck because Spiders die quickly to Aflatoxin, Dragons come out rarely enough that more often than not you'll be able to Antimatter them all, and you don't have to hurt her (except maybe a few pings with the Dagger) until you've already locked her field down, so her big nasty weapon just plain isn't.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Used a modified version of my deck above, with added steals and less :entropy. I still easily won, but I found myself having a lack of :entropy in the early game.

This is what I would strongly recommend to anyone having problems drawing steals:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5up 5up 5up 5up 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 8pp

Oddly enough, Gemini TU'd my purple nymphs instead of a newly-played dragon (no momentum). If he starts getting damage on you this way, LS the nymphs, preferably behind a phase shield. Without it, you won't kill him as quickly, but it will still lower his damage output.

You can also AM them, but IMO it isn't worth the small amount of healing, and you need that :entropy for recluses and dragons.

EDIT: Added mark code.
