Here are a few things I noticed which I think could potentially be addressed. They aren't really about the game itself, but more about how to make the game function better.
1) Automating/speeding up some actions- The tossing the coin takes a long time... can't we have an option to turn off such animations? I would be happy just having me or my opponent randomly start. On a similar vein, I hate that one False God that uses Dive and Photosynthesis...because it TAKES SO LONG if they have lots of those creatures on the screen per turn If there could be an option to turn off these 'battle animations' that would speed things up too
- Spinning the wheel at the end - seriously, who chooses NOT to spin? Why is not the spinning done automatically?? Why do we get such a measly amount of electrum per spin? I would be happy just getting 0-3 cards randomly at the end of the game if it was immediate, I wouldn't mind not getting that extra electrum lol
2) New buttons- separating Upgrade Grade and Level 6. Upgrade Card is really along the same lines as "Manage Deck" and "Bazaar" so it should go there too. Level 6 should be up top, along with the rest of the levels. Right now you need to click twice to get to either function, through Quests, it's just extra work.
- quit button - I know for some False Gods I just automatically quit. I do this through Menu -> Quit WHILE the coin is tossing. Why not just have a quit button available?
3) Fasting deck loadingInstead of loading miniature card graphics for all the cards, load only text EXCEPT for the ones in your deck, where you load actual cards. I have over 400 cards, and when I click "all", usually accidentally, my CPU usage shoots WAY up and Firefox freezes for a few seconds before all the cards load. This problem wouldn't happen if they were shown as only text. Hovering over them will still show you the card info, but perhaps only as text. Only the ones in your deck (so a maximum of 60 cards) will have graphics
4) Accommodating screen sizesMy laptop is 800 x 480 (10.1 inches). On it, the game barely fits if I have it fullscreen. On the other hand, my desktop is 1680 x 1050. So when I first started playing, when I didn't know what the cards did, I had to really lean forward and squint to see what the cards did. Since flash is vector-based, it wouldn't be too hard to make a "small" (for my laptop), "medium" (current one) and "large" option (for my desktop) by just resizing the flash object.
