After reading the topics... https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=30500.msg387518#msg387518

Hi! I'm new to the forums.

I read the sticky about mobile versions.. and atried to search but it won't let me. ll I want to ask..

Is why not droid? It uses flash, can't be too hard to make it into an app.

Trying to play elements via browser in droid is difficult at the least. So it it was an app, designed to go fullscreen... and paused so you can SEE without mousing over to see the card. (Droid- you have to touch to see/cast)

Please? I also play Shadow Era, and this is by far a superior game. Maybe not graphics wise, but that's ok for me!

Again: I tried to search but it won't let me. So I checked common topics and only saw a request for ipad, not droid. All I'm asking is make an app that directly comes to the game site, ie linked app maybe.

Yeah, I've played it on a droid before.........not so good. I would rather have it made into an iPhone app, but zanz said that would never happen, but droid....i don't know. I think that most players would rather have zanz put new cards or more quests or things like that into the game than have that time be spent making it a droid app.

Even on the best reasonably priced tablets (aka 5-600$) for playing flash games, Elements will not work too good (even on low). Was at Best Buy the other day and tested out several tablets, one guy said it was the most powerful one they had there (and it wasnt the most expensive either, so I believed him lol) and it could not handle elements on low quality. There wont even be  a need for this until tablets get better.

However... if you really want an easy fullscreen...
elementsthegame.com/element1282.swf ls the direct link to the swf.

I am currently playing elements via droid 2, it runs on it fairly well.

My issues are trying to touch the cards, etc. Sometimes it's slow, and I don't advise it for the not-so-patient.

But it would be nice to have something out there other than the other game I mentioned, Shadow Era. Yea, some want Iphone. But the fact is, it's much easier to code for Droid. And The other game is making a LOT of money, enough that they fleshed out from a single guy to a full dev team.

Just an idea there, may want to look into it.

Ahhh I see what you mean. Well, Luckily the need to "mouse over" your cards will become 0 after you are more use to the game. However, Dont count on the game getting an android version. The big problem with that is that there is only 1 developer for this game. Zanzarino design is made up of 1 person. Zanzarino. Rolling out updates and new cards is hard enough, I doubt any other version, aside from a swf will be coming out.

I don't get why not expand?

I mean, the point of the game is for many people to have fun, and the dev to make money.

If the dev hires people and adds paying incentives that don't give free players too large a disadvantage (Such as shadow era's ability to buy crystals OR earn ia free offers) then he would make MORE money?

I'm actually a little sad. I used to play this game years ago when it was new. Sad to see it's still one guy when it has so much potential.

Theoretically... it should be pretty simple change is so that you can still look at the cards on an android.
IT already checks to see if the mouse is hovering over the card... All that would need to be changed was so that if the mouse was clicked, but not released it would still show while being hovered over it... Not sure if thats a possibility of actionscript though....

Enable an option that lets you decide to click twice OR mouseover?

I play elements   both with 1Ghz processor  and 1Ghz pc and  found that game speed it' almost the same, except that the tablet lacks in precision when clicking the cards or the buttons. All lag noticed is due to servers or long animations.

In android 3 elements seems even to run faster than my pc, but i believe it's because the screen is smaller and the CPU is better organized.
