I mean, if web removes the weapon's ability to fly, how is it hitting you?  Is it /walking/?!  It'd make much more sense for the weapon to go back into your weapon slot.

It's a nice hard counter to flying weapon without being too situational, and it's form of minor permanent control for air.

Well what about animate weapon? It's not flying, it's animated. That would resist web.

It doesn't need to. It's animated by magic. The web, which is basically a sticky net, causes flying creatures to be unable to fly. An animated weapon is not really flying, it's levitated by a spell.

^this. I don't think it web should be any more complicated - it's just there as a situational ability that buffed the spiders very slightly. Also, Animated Weapons is only available in spell form atm, so Web could potentially take a 2 card combo down every single use, the Animate Weapon spell and the weapon that was in the weapon slot. I'd say it's a pretty hard and unnecessary counter.

Lolz, I love this idea, it feels so akin to my idea of making frog aquatic. It just makes so much more sense, and it make things interesting. I see nothing wrong with this idea, well balanced in all respects, a good minor nerf for flying weapon(actually, not so minor, a spider deck that have air quanta would destroy any flying weapon deck it faces). Anyways, I support this.

No, it doesn't make sense. They're animated by magic, so even if they couldn't be airborne, they could still float over to you. It would also be a far too extreme counter, as Web is a skill that can be used an indefinite amount of times, whereas Flying Weapon/Animate Weapon is a spell.

No way. The web-and-wings concept is already so underused it almost shouldn't exist, and this just makes spiders even more OPed than they should be. o.o

You lost me here, underused meant it's underpowered, but then you say it's overpowered. So, what is your actually opinion?
