Would it be possible to let us see the opponent's hand in the trainer? It would be togglable, of course. This way we can see how the AI plays its cards.

This would give many insights into False Gods, and it will be easier to predict what they are/are not using compared to their hand and quanta.

I think it's a good idea. It means we can get a better insight into the FGs strategy. The trainer is there to train us after all, and this would help.

Then again, maybe it would make the FGs easier in the actual game, and therefore ruin the hardest element of the game.

I don't like this idea. Much of the game's appeal for me is planning things because of not knowing. Showing the AI's hands will make responding to the AI way to easy when you head back to the real version.
