I saw this on the overpowered poll sticky at the top.
not by itself but with a quint quinted Oty's shut down a lot of decks...
I really hate quinted Oty's.
I think they should make it so that if Oty's don't eat anything for something like 3 turns they would die.
It's really stupid how all someone has to do is put down a quinted Oty in the first couple turns and the opponent is immediately at a huge disadvantage. Not only can they not play crucial cards but the owner of said Oty is free to keep drawing cards and gaining masses amounts of Quanta.
Oty's should die of HUNGER!
Great idea Cancerplus! An upgraded Otyugh with quintessence and maybe a +0/+6 from whatever that card is called can totally destroy another person's plan, unless it's just a bunch of Graboids, immortal, or quintessenced creatures. Also, I see way too many standard rainbow decks (bonewall, queen, otyugh, sundials, etc.). How do we stop these? While my deck is good against them since they take a while to build up, I want to see more originality...

I think that this Idea nerfes Otys too far.
Another simple idea: Make otys 1/3 or 1/5, so they die from shields.
How about they just get poisoned after 3 turns or so? That would still allow them to eat people after those 3 turns and cancel out the poison effect. However, after 2 further turns of not eating, the otyugh would get poisoned again. This way, players would only have to find a way to kill the queen and the standard rainbowers would be helpless.
