The shards serials is so unbalanced, especially sof which become the standard card in gold and plat deck. And all around shards serial to design deck ,which decease the freedom for try design different deck. And let all player just do 2 things : arena to win shard,  pvp use shard.  So what is the  live meaning of the other cards?   The attraction of this game is the abundance cards of so many series, and many strategy including energy suppress, rush with creature, poison, and ect.  But now I only see one strategy , use sof to energy suppress, so boring, that decrease many people' interest. And for them , only two way , go away or go grind arena.

I think the good way is not making the shard card so unbalanced to abstract people play arena.

The unbalance of sof is not the function but the cost, this should cost fixed type energy so that people cant play it in the first turn, which makes the game luck based to see who can play sof in first turn.

if you hate sof run ultharids. while sof and some other shards may be OP, none are uncountarable, and it is possible to make a good deck without them. shards IMO improve the metagame by creating new strategies and counters to strategies.

SoFo is known to eat pillars alive in early time, preventing any setup. Yes it needs a nerf, perhaps giving it activation cost.
However, other shards are actually beneficial to the game. SoR enabled lots of strategies and gave the somewhat unused golden nymph a place in the metagame.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

So many people are forced to grind arera for sof because they are beat easily by one with sof in pvp. The result is pvp has little people and a pvp game should wait many seconds for a match come.

Er, not really.  Golden nymph was already a fantastic midrange hitter for Time.  SoR enabled Pharoahs by giving them some setup speed more than it did for golden nymph.

Shard of Focus, Shard of Sacrifice, and Shard of Freedom seem to be the main offenders. The others don't seem to be all that OP. Dropping the starting hit points of shard of focus helped quite a bit, but it still seems to need a bit more.
The debate on SoSac is all over the boards already... Personally I think its still a bit OP.
Shard of Freedom seems to be the next most dangerous, and while probably more powerful than a lot of other rare or commons, I'm not sure its gamebreakingly so.

I think the big issue is that they can only be gleaned from arena decks and PvP and there is nothing comparable to be had from PvE grinding (false gods and half bloods)... Maybe adding in card / reward incentives to those would help.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

IMO Shard of Freedom is fine (maybe just reduce the evading chance and make it not to stack if you feel it is OP). On the other hand, Shard of Sacrifice and Shard of Focus seem to be wrong ideas as a whole. They are just too good in what they do but also too situational; they totally rape the battlefield if there is not any counter for them while they just fail with even the slightest counter...
