Given my avatar, I would like to be on the frog's side, but I think if you throw a frog in the ocean, it's going to die, even without getting into sticky topics like infinities.

It would die of starvation or predation, but not from drowning.
@Icybraker
If the flood rises to infinite height, the water pressure at any given point would be infinite, NOTHING material can survive infinite pressure, so the water creatures and the malignant cells wouldn't survive either.

P.S: Am I outnumbered 1 to infinite here? No supporters? Poor me.

Just assume that Flooding is icy cold water, and it freezes creatures to death.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I guess that would make sense, but then flying creatures should not be affected.

No no, it worked like this.  Instead of a flood rushing at them, it fell on them in a solid block.  Only water creatures could survive the constant rain.

You mean a gigantic body of water falling from above and crushing anything beneath it with sheer weight? Because I don't see how rain can affect frogs as many frogs do live in a environment of almost constant raining. If that's the case then I guess I have no more arguments to put forth, that would eradicate the chance of survival for both swimming and flying creatures, but don't you think flood is still quite overpowered at its current state?

I think it would be a good idea to make flying creatures not die either if they are not so concentrated in the element air. (...)
That would IMO make Flooding ridiculously expensive (manteinance cost) for the little it would do.
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?
'cause I see colors flourishing like you'd never believe... like a pendulum swings, they swing with me!

The infinitely high water would also have infinite mass meaning infinite gravity force affecting everything from all sides... which adds up to zero. But the formula to calculate pressure is p = ρgh
so with no gravity force, we have no pressure... so everything should survive!

Or at least frogs :P
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

Again, just assume that the water is icy cold, somehow sub-zero. Only :water creatures can survive the cold water.
