Not just simple trials and quests, the game needs much more epic interactive ai events. Zanz should create quests of all types, even some with storylines, and plot series. For example "rescue the princess from the evil wizard" could involve battles with ai3 henchmen, a card-based puzzle thing, a riddle and finally a final battle with Hecate. You gain extra score and money for in-quest battles, and a big bonus from the princess at the end for saving her, perhaps a Shard of Grattitude and a Morningstar.
Who knows, there could even be a shard themed quest about searching for the long lost elemental orbs, with the discovery of each new orb granting one shard of it's respective element? Just stuff like this to make the game interesting. The trials are a step in the right direction, but what this game really needs is some kind of spark to re-ignite it's role playing fantasy copoment and more interesting repeatable non PvP events. These computer generated events would make it easier for someone to find things like Hogwarts house cups, Budokan, and War, but on a smaller scale.
