Edit: The problem is people's existing scores. How could Zanz implement this change without causing a riot?

Score quests can easily be changed to something else; say like rack up a total of 500 electrum and you complete the quest instead of having to get 500 score.

I have been thinking about this for a while, and I really thinking the wins/losses and score should only be gotten from PvP games. Pretty much everyone knows that the reason the top 50 have such high scores (for the most part anyways) is because they have a deck built to face the god matches or Level 3. That is not skill, and my belief is that a person's score should reflect their skill level more or less. As it stands now, a person can just build a rapid win deck and face level 3 a whole bunch of times to inflate their wins/score. Again, that is not skill. The only true way to determine skill is by facing other, real people.

So, I say score should only be modified by the results of PvP matches. AI matches definitely still give out coins, just not score or win/loss ratio. Now, I don't think it should happen just yet, as there are still plenty of bugs in PvP, as well as cheaters. As well, I think the match-up generator should be modified so that you are more likely to face someone around your point range. But once that is for the most part taken care of, I believe everyone's score and wins/losses should be wiped clean and the score from PvP change applied. Then, the highscore tables truly will reflect the top players.

lol. that would be WAY to easy. jsut sell all the second elements cards you start with and grind a couple level 2s

very good idea. adds divercity to decks and it tests a players true skills. not just theyre ability to stay up till 5a.m. grinding nonstop. in reality, it would help people get to know one another and not be pent up in theyre pvc fantasies. BUT, there is a downfall. the score quests. if a new player were to start and decide that they want ot up there score they may get pwned by the people who have been playing for hours on end and therefore lose there drive to play. which can be fixed by puting a warning in the random pvp section that the players may beat you to a pulp, play only if you can take the beating or if your realy bored and try to kill some time. or something to that extent. happy grinding everyone^_^

Agreed. You can keep the old score by making score separate for each season. Every time the scoring system changes or a major update hits, we start a new season and start with 0 score in it, but get a record of this season's score. Simple.

How about a major nerf to the score you get from fighting the AI, and after you fight them way to many times you could only earn 1-3 points per battle (depending on the level your fighting) or limiting how many times you can get a score from the AI in a row, with fighting other players the only wa you could start earning score points again (it would be unfair if we didn't get anything from fighting the AI, they are still matcs)
So mainly just something to make score farming way harder.

To the post underneth me, fighting AI should still have some score reward, it is still a match that you can lose. How much would you hate beating a false god and only getting electrum for it?

Well, limit the AI matches rewards to electrum, and 500 points. That is, to get your score above 500, you'll have to fight other players.
