Make a Lite version of the game. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=17443.msg222192#msg222192

Make the lite version solely text-based with very little images. This could greatly reduce lag. Then, you could create an option to only face people using Lite. Or, make this a toggleable option in the sound/music menu. Permanent stats and skills are not needed because there is no way to buff permanents (atm.) Likewise, card descriptions, etc. are not needed because most know all the cards in the game. You could always make a "mouse-over the card to see description" anyways. Upped cards can be italicized, while unupped cards are not. There could also be three columns, value (Cards, Mark, Shield, Weapon, Creature #1, etc), Name/stats/quantity, skill.
Possible format: (the double stats: first is current, second is full)

Opponent:
Seism
Cards x7
Mark Earth x3
Opponent's Permanents:
2 Earth Tower x8
Shield Diamond Shield
Weapon Pulverizer
Opponent's Creatures:
1 Elite Graboid 2|3 2|3 1 :time evolve
2 Elite Shrieker 10|1 10|4 1 :earth burrow
Player:
Cards
Mark
Make the lite version without all the 1-second effects and stuff. Like, take out all the card images, replace the images with text. Take away all the numbers and transitions; just have an actions log somewhere.

I don't support this idea, though the game doesn't run at full speed on my PC (Pentium 4 3.0 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM); and I agree that there could be a light version (besides lowering the .swf quality) that makes it run smoother and faster on slowrer PC's.

How to do it? I 've no idea what it is that makes it run slowe or anything i just know that it does. I 've tryed modifying tons of configurations settings, but nothings seems to deal with it:

Allowing to use hard disk space to store data (right click> configuration)
Closing all other unnecesary programs (either use bandwith or CPU or RAM)
Always play on low quality (Settins> quality)
Adobe flash updated to v10

Tryed it on Chrome and Firefox; and both in Windows XP SP3 and Ubuntu 9.04; it run similar in all.

Also tryed it on a faster computer, my brothers, I don't the specific configuration but I remember: duo core, 4 GB ram, Window 7

I would support this, although not sure if the text-based one could work out. However, the option to disable all animations would be a great step to have Elements run on slower computers better, and it could also reduce the number of desyncs in games.

This is a godly idea. Simple but it is what I think this game needs, far more players could play this game then. :)
