I've been playing your game for three days now (I know that doesn't sound like much) and I'm very eager to see where the game continues. There's so much potential Elements has!
Elements is fair, fun, strategic, and easy to understand. The game-play is
'fair' because there's no such thing as an unbeatable deck. Each deck has their own strengths and weaknesses that can vary from battle to battle. For instance: A deck built on Scorpion spamming can easily be brought down by using damage spells. A deck that runs on immortal monsters that spells cannot harm can be easily disturbed with a ice, fire, or spine shield. Anybody has a chance to win!
The game is
'fun' because well for one, it's a TCG. Who doesn't like collecting trading cards right? It's also fun because it's got simple gameplay mechanisms. There's nothing over complicated about the game that makes it frustrating to play. Another reason why it's fun is exactly the same reason why it's 'fair'; everyone has a chance win!
The game is
'strategic' because of exactly the same way it's fair. Every deck has it's ups and downs. If you build your deck around blocking this effect, it may be easy to bypass with another effect.
The game is
'easy to understand' because when you first join Elements you are giving a few simple quests to get you up to speed with how the game works. The board layout is simple, cards are very easy to use and understand, and the objective couldn't be more simple that it already is; bring your opponents life to zero.
But I think the three real reasons why I like Elements the most is this:
1. The Elements, each Element holds their own special set of card effects that you can choose from. If you run a deck off of any two Elements, you could have a lot of fun discovering cool strategies and card combinations.
2. This card exchange system is intelligent. You can get one free card a day, including some Electrum. You can use Electrum buy common cards in the Bazarr, or sell ones you don't need/want anymore. Sometimes you can earn a rare card using the spinner after winning a battle.
3. The game is fair. I know I've said that like four times now but I mean it.
There are little tid-bits I'd like to see changed about the game though.
I would really appreciate in the PvP that after you or your opponent reaches zero life, the game doesn't totally cut you off straight to the rewards or menu. It's nice to chat with the player after the duel. Maybe implement a button after-duel that lets you leave to the rewards/menu? That, and a chat-bar instead of having to click 'Message' to talk to someone.
Oh, and I believe I found two bugs. I don't know if they have been brought up before, but I'll bring them up anyways:
1. When you click the Fire Nymph to use her ability and decide not to use it and click cancel, you do not get back the quanta.
2. The Phase Shield says it lasts for three turns, but lasts one extra turn when it hit's zero.
