i just thought that having a bank of some kind for electrum might be kind of nice... any thoughts?

What's the difference from just holding it?

Do you earn interest? Can you loan your electrum out?

actually, i'm just throwing an idea up. i kind of like the idea of giving coin to people. as for interest, i like it. i just find that having a place to separate my money to helps me not to spend it unnecessarily. save it for the things i need, you know?

Reminds me of having your mom save money for you in pokemon gold/silver...except without the random gifts.  Actually, on that note, if this idea were implemented maybe the bank could give you random gift cards for less money with a 1% chance of getting a rare or something.  Other than that, I feel like the bank would need to give interest or have some other incentive for it to be worthwhile.

Why do you need a bank? Is it for the interest? There's really no point. Can't you just use some self restraint so you don't splurge your money? :P

But yeah, bank is interesting. You could loan money to buy that deck you really want, but will have to pay it back.
As for people who deposit their money, they will get interest.

This is actually more plausible, because there's no way "digital" money could be on shortage.

The thing is that there would be no reason not to deposit all your money into the bank, since taking money out is as easy as two clicks.

What about, every day, you are allowed to donate (a capped amount of) money to the oracle to improve your chances of a nymph for tomorrow or to generate interest and use the donated money to buy weapon rares?
