On the contrary, a lot needs to change :)

A proper, well balanced game economics system for one. (Not all cards costing 1500 to upgrade... More gold from harder opponents... etc)

But, without opening that can of worms - I'll just say that, money you win should be based on the % of your hitpoints. Sure, 100% should give x2 (Elemental Mastery), but winning a battle with 1% hitpoints? That's more like luck.
To be clear, we are talking about 100% vs. 99%, not vs. 1%.
We are talking about having 99 HP, 1 poison in you, and 10 healing from SHARDS, and getting 39 coins for your win; while someone in the exact same scenario with healing BONDS gets 80 coins for their win.

In a game where coins = score, rank, and ability to upgrade your deck; should you really have your reward HALVED because you chose (or needed) shards instead of bonds?

That is a HUGE reward difference from essentially ZERO scenario difference.

Hey I'm glad there's some support on the side of change, though somehow I doubt anything will come of it. I really don't want to come off as whiny it's just there are so many times when I just wish I could tell my creatures DON'T ATTACK! Because I know that if they do it'll cost me an extra 5 or 10 minutes of time in order to make up the money I lost. But that's what I get for trying to game the system without resorting to looking up other peoples strategies. :-P

Edit: Oh also to mono: Sorry I didn't see your thread, I did try and look for one before I posted, but I wasn't looking for it under Poison. Oh well at least we can comiserate!

On this and Monolith's point, I say this:

Mono decks are just better than Multi-colors...when there is a large enough card pool. In Elements as it is, there is a very small card pool, which makes Rainbow uber powerful while making mono decks rely way too heavily on their speed and quanta reliability, since that is their only good point.
Shard, however, is a colorless card, meaning anyone can play it. Does this also make mono-Life better than any other deck because it has access to bonds? No one would complain that point, because mono-Life has a small creature base and can't generally get the number of creatures needed out to heal enough per turn for EM.
What you are arguing is that Rainbow is too powerful because of its access to all cards. Yes, I believe this is true, but it's only true because of the relatively small pool of cards. When more cards are available and mono decks are more powerful, Rainbow will be brought down in power to their level. More card pool, but less reliability.

So basically, with things as they are, you are basically only arguing about the Shard in YOUR decks...what about mono-Light? Is Light overpowered because it has Miracle AND Shard? No. Life has Bond AND Shard AND Heal...

gotta go - no power left in battery, more later

Again I appreciate the reply but THIS topic isn't about how overpowered rainbow or any other type of deck is or is not. It is simply my suggestion that the shards heal be moved ahead of the creature attacks. This would have no effect on gameplay that I can see, aside from the fact that it makes decks using them end the game with anywhere from 5 to 30 HP more which is a moot point because the game is ending anyways. I'm not saying it is or isn't fair compared to anything else. Just that on it's own it's frustrating and it feels counter intuitive to the spirit of the card which to my mind is: At the end of EVERY turn of yours, even your very last one, you heal 5 hp.

That is all I am arguing, mono* may feel otherwise, but please feel free to respond to MY portion of the discussion.

Edit: By "mono" I meant the person Monolith. Sorry

I'm not trying to bash anyone or anything, I also feel your pain...it sucks to have 99 life and kill the opponent...

As to your post, I would love it if all healing were done before the attack...not sure if that's what Zanz had in mind, but it's what I'd like anyways...
