Sandbox PvP https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=6826.msg73611#msg73611

Basically, a single problem with PvP right now is that it punishes you a lot for losing.

This can mean lots of score loss if you lose in PvP2 against a "noob" because you're running a fun dragon rainbow while your opponent is running a shrieker rush deck. Or maybe you want to test a deck for PvP and so play a deck in PvP since that's the only way to do so, and lose a lot since you're still balancing it. Now I'm willing to take this loss, simply because it's so much fun, but others aren't.

Hence, PvP3*: Sandbox PvP. It would be upped/unupped, and would not affect your score in any way, winning or losing. To not make it another form of all rare farms, you could either make no spins or make it the same cost/reward as T50 to punish people a small amount for losing.

*When I said this, I meant it in the light that it is the 3rd PvP option, not that that's what it would be called. Sandbox or Unranked would be the correct term.

Great idea. Seconded ;)

Except you can't call it PvP3; that may lead to confusion, as daring players head into the arena expecting an even more challenging fight than the last. Simply calling it Sandbox would be good. I'd rather make it no spins and no awards; sort of a random version of PvP Duel.

This would be awesome. :D

We need an option to prepare a deck to fight against. Just fighting deck at hand (as in fighting your own mirror deck) wont help much.

I also agree with OP.

We need a trainer deck only PvP.
I've longed to play my friends using decks that have cards I normally wouldn't have. D:

I agree, you do get punished pretty badly for testing out decks while other people played more serious decks. There's no real room to enjoy PvP if you risk 200 score and your Electrum.

PvP3 would imply it's the "next level" of PvP when it's clearly not. PvP 0 would fit much better.

Also term "Unranked" would be much better than "Sandbox".

Other than that, yes it's a good idea.

Would you have to own teh cards or could you design your deck before you play?
I think it'd be nice if there was an option to show your statistics once you changed your deck or left PvP 3/0/Sandbox.

We could have a "creative tournament" where players get points from the judges for using a funny, inventive, or amusing strategy/deck.
