Rewards for win totals https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3174.msg27289#msg27289

To encourage people to continue playing, what about awarding people electrum coins based on meeting certain thresholds for wins.  For example:

100 wins = 100 coins
250 wins = 250 coins
500 wins = 500 coins
750 = 750
1000 = 1000
and it keeps going up by 250.

Seems this would reward people for playing a lot and encourage them to continue playing.  It would also help newer players earlier on to get a little extra cash.  Thoughts?

hm... By the time you get 100 wins you don't really care about 100 electrum. This would be better if it would be somehow based on the score.

I'd take your scale and use score as xdude suggested

I like this idea. It'd be a good way to speed up the card-collecting/deckmaking process, would give you more small goals to aim for while playing, and it should be fairly easy to code.

It's not a bad idea.  It could be incorporated into the Quest area easily, telling you what your next goal is, etc.  If it is implemented as a quest, too, then people who have already passed the thresholds won't miss out on it.

I like the score based Idea. Give them one per one every time they reach the next 1000 marker. So when you get to 1000 score you get 1000 electrum.

Why not have both? A sort of achievements system, with spoonfuls of electrum for every conceivable milestone. It's the dirty trick that makes Zynga games so addictive, but it would also serve to draw in newcomers and supply the money they need to start building decks.

9001 electrum: lose 10 times in a row.

9001 electrum: lose 10 times in a row.
The newer players don't need that much money; it's such a big reward that it would promote losing on purpose, which is bad.

I wouldn't base it on the score.
Score goes down when you lose.
You lose when you try things for the first time - new decks, new ideas
-> you lose electrum for experimenting
Not a good thing.
