Ok, so i just came up with this idea. Some people accidentally sell rare cards, right? Well, this is where my idea comes into play. A system to buy back any rare cards you sell!!

This would not be cheap, however. Rare cards are, well, rare. I think the ideal price would be 1429 Electrum. I took the cost of a nymph (in trainer, of course), added the cost to upgrade a card, and divided by two.
1358+1500=2858/2=1429.

So, what does the forum community think?

[21:47:45] ‹godofdeath500› I do not live up to my name.

Wow, 3 people voted that they didn't like this idea. I wonder why?

If you don't like this idea, please post why so that I can improve it. That way, everyone is happy.

If you simply don't like it, that's ok. But it would still be great if I got feedback.

If you ever sell something rare, do not go back to main menu, refresh your browser.

When I was a child, I touched a hot pot on a stove once...
I learned very quickly that hot things burned me, and I never made that mistake again.
If I would have been warned, I wouldn't have done it in the first place though.

Zanz has implemented a warning when you attempt to sell a rare. If you are spamming clicks trying to sell a bunch of cards, you deserve to lose the card.

If you like that card enough, you'll take your time selling cards. Learn your lessons.

it gives you a huge ass warning that you're about to sell a rare, so i don't see how you could accidentally sell it, plus its a cheaper way to get an old deck back...lets say i sold my upped dragon because i was making a new deck, now instead of paying 100+ and then the 1500 to up it (a total of 1600) you only pay 1429, about a 200 price swing, now if you were to do it tfor a 30 card deck, 30 x 100 (because not all cards are 100) = 3000. so people can cut corners and save an extra cost that would normally leave them 2 upped cards behind

What about this bug?

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5591.msg63956#msg63956 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5591.msg63956#msg63956)

I'm not crazy about a rare card buy back system, since I'm sure it could be exploited somehow, but something needs to be done about that. I'd hate to lose, say, a Morning Glory just because I sold a Titan seconds ago and I miss-clicked.

Yes, I know you can just refresh the page without saving - but the thing is, people who don't check the forums probably don't. So, until this bug is fixed (that is, if it gets fixed), I suggest placing a warning in the "Your Deck" section, something like "If you made a mistake with your deck, refresh the page without returning to the menu. You'll lose all progress made since your last save."

This would be at the bottom of Zanz's priority list if it were to be implemented.
