Rare Exchange

Hello,

this may sound partially like a luxury problem, but I would like to add a suggestion: Rares should be exchangable for other rares of the same type for a certain fee. This would mean that you could go to the bazaar or an area you would unlock upon a certain score/with a quest and trade stuff. This stuff would be one weapon for another, one Squid for a Pharao, one Shard for another and one Nymph for another. Upgraded cards could only be traded for unupgraded cards.

With that system new players could exchange weapon (i.e. a Arsenic for a Pulverizer in order to farm FG).  Also Shard decks would be more accessible. And lucky players could exchange Nymphs for some they don't have/they would like to have. This would also fix the problem, where one player has a double digit amount of one type of Nymphs and not a single one from another type. The total amount of Rares would not change.

Prices could be 100 for the weapon exchange, 200 for Squid/Pharao, 500/1k for Shards and like 10k for a Nymph.

You can make an unupgraded FG slayer to get some upgraded cards, sell them for 1200-1400  each, get some cool upgrades and make a solid Bronze farmer with them

Thanks for the tip. But I am not talking about getting rares. I am talking about getting specific rares. It is fairly easy to get any weapon/shard/nymph, but in order to get a specific one, you need to have either extreme luck (nymphs) or grind a lot (shards/weapons). The suggestion was directed at the topic of getting specific cards. Let's say you have won three SoI, one SoSac and one SoFree. The deck you want to build needs 5 SotV - so you could either grind several hundred games for them or exchange your shards + a fee for the desired ones.

The main concern for this topic for me would be the nymph exchange in order to get specific nymphs..

This topic has been brought up HUNDREDS of times in the past. Please do a bit of digging and research as to the opinions of the community on the subject before continuing with this yet once again...

I did a quick search and most of the threads were concerning weapons or from the old forum (and a lot of things changed in the last 5 years). My main concern is about nymphs. 12 of a kind are fine. 13 are frustrating and 25 are borderline rage inducing. This game has a lot of RNG already and while weapons/shards are semi available through arena they are still far from easily accessible. Nymphs are designed to be a reward for constant checking of the oracle. This feeling diminishes when you only get one of a kind and no other.

This is not a begging for more nymphs or more rares. It simply would be nice to get a feeling that there are less "wasted" rares and no "wasted" nymphs.

One thing to consider is that if you can switch your nymphs around, then you effectively have all nymphs you can possibly want after you hit ~15. The fee is not such a big problem as electrum is fairly easy to acumulate.

You could build any decks with the exchange, but you still don't have a full collection.. Many Nymphs are collectibles since more than 4 of a kind aren't really viable for decks. And for most nymphs even 4 is a number way too high.

I would love "mono"  with 6 nymphs, SoRs and 2 immolations for the last turn

There is still no possibility for more than 6 nymphs of a kind per deck and no use for more than 12 of a kind per collection. With 15 entropy nymphs you could use 3 of them for exchange and still maintain a full collection.

Shards are quite easy to acquire in the Arena. But with Nymphs I have huge issues to gain them. Neither in Arena, nor in oracle nor in any other way I saw them appearing since few months. In Arena I do farming up to gold gaining lots of shards but no nymphs even if the arena deck of the opponent is full with them. It should be possible to trade upped shards to unupped nymphs of the same element.
