Most floods are caused either by rivers overflow or massive precipitation, both involves freshwater. Besides, if :water is able to manipulate water, it would need to be able to manipulate salt as well for it to use salt water. If not so, you'd think it will bring the fishes and sea weeds along with it as well. If it can only manipulate water, then it probably not be able to move the salt. Besides, won't it just be a lot cooler to see a frog swimming than having it drown? ;D
It cant manipulate salt, but everywhere are salts. In your sweat on your skin and so on.. as soon as water comes in contact with other materials it will solubilise salts.

But I dont want to make you angry, I like you just because Pi. ;D
Besides I know 54 decimal places of Pi. (till 5105820)
Its really easy to keep in mind look at Pi and you know 10 more numbers without "learning" it just by looking at it. Its a really smooth sequence of numbers.

Lol, I like the way you think, but the amount of salt that gets dissolved will not be enough to be harmful to freshwater creatures.
As for Pi, how come you are on the 54th digit? I always memorize 10 digit at a time, so I will never end up somewhere like the the 54th. I memorized 100 digits, but I gave up after that since 100 seem like a milestone while after that it just doesn't seem like much of an achievement anymore. I agree that it's a very smooth sequence, it's almost rhythmic when chanted in my language.

how do you explain that the flood covers just two corridors of water and leaves the central one dry??
that's total bs!!

A hill, magical barrier, the strong corporate feeling between the central line, a not too cruel flood, not enough blue pixel, not enough water, the central line always get swim rings before entering the battle field, the central line drinks a lot thus even the flood, the water element  respects the middle line, the flood is scared, the flood likes Nicaragua or Argentina.....

@guy_fawkes
I'll ignore your use of inappropriate language. As to why the central line of creature slots are not flooded, it could be at a much higher altitude, where the water cannot reach. And, looking at the card art you'll know that the water elemental could choose not to flood it as well. On top of that, don't you think it's illogical to have a card that wipe out the entire field? It's only balance that it should allow the opponent to have 7 creature slots usable. So, before you blurt out such a comment, please think more in depth.

the "please think more in depth" pun was intended or not?

If you were to take this from our daily experience on Earth it'd be completely logical to allow the frogs to live.  However, this game takes place in the world of elements, not on Earth.  Where the world of elements even takes is unknown to us.  Maybe it's in another galaxy, it could even be in another universe for all we know.  If the first was true, you could possibly apply our logic to it.  If the latter were true, we can't assume anything over there works the way it works over here.

We can't tell if the biological structure of this frog is capable to withstand high pressures, or if its stronger than that of the flying creatures.  We can't tell if this torrent of "water" does go on to infinity, which direction does this flood form from, nor if the flying creatures can fly fast enough to surpass the flood's rising tides.  Our world's laws of physics don't apply here.

One thing we do know for sure is Zanz is the creator of this world.  Therefore, if you can change his mind about this, then it's done.  Frogs can survive a flood, no matter how twisted and battered they'd get.  If not, then they stay dead once a flood is issued.  His word is God's here.

Anyways, you guys are arguing whether a frog would survive a flood.  That depends, did this flood occur because of a Tsunami?  Or is it just the rising tides?  First would kill, due to its force, second wouldn't cause there'd be little change in water pressure.  This is of course using Earthling logic ^_^  Also, here's a question for you, how did you survive? ^_^  Maybe you're also on that central lane, and maybe that's why that lane has one less creature slot than the rest.  Ah well, it's something to think about.

If you're rising this because your frogs would die then I'll also rise this.  I shouldn't be hit by momentum when I have phase shields.  Reason?  Whether you're moving at the speed of light (which by modern means is impossible ... for now ^_^ (Don't worry I'll find a way :aether)) or have planetary mass, you can't touch something immaterial.  If phase shields does what it should, you should phase out of your dimension.  Therefore you yourself become an immaterial elemental.  You're gonna target the device that creates this immaterial state?  The device itself should make itself immaterial to, that is to be of any use.

This thread is not purely created so that things in the game would follow the logic in the real world, this thread is created for a similar reason to the one that argues the devourer should be poisoned after swallowing a venomous creature(which is already implemented into the game) . It would make the game more interesting and it would make sense in some extent, the making sense part is just a bonus. Besides, it is true that not everything in the game makes sense, but most of them do, because if not the game would be a maze of confusion. Fiction is false, but they have to make sense, and it has to have a basis in real life. So, does a fantasy card game. Of course I'm not saying it's Zanz's duty to make the game make sense, this is just a suggestion that he might find applicable. The problem is that people are denying that my suggestion is making any remote sense and saying it's the pressure that killed the frog and that it can't surface, etc. I'm defending my logic for that extend, not that this feature has the right to be implemented or the game has to make sense.

Well, without any information of how this flood is issued there's no point in arguing how this frog would die then =P
Lets hope Zanz sees this and comes up with his own opinion before anymore of us create elaborate ways for a frog to die xD .... Actually .... keep em coming!! ^^  I loved Icybraker's Falling Slab of Ice with infinite dimensions xD

Kurohami, its a god damn Computer Card Game.  It doesnt have to make perfect sense.
This.

The card was originally made to give Water even more control. If Flooding didn't affect this range of creatures, it would become so underpowered that no one would use it.

I believe he already addressed that... emphasis added, and removed things not pertaining to it.

and since more creatures would not be effected you would nerf the upkeep of it, or perhaps even get rid of the upkeep altogether, that way it is useful in more decks, and not so specialized towards mono water decks.
