PvP Farming

Im curious to know what the general sense of the community is. Personally i hate farmers. I dislike that its possible for someone to obtain rares without taking any time or skill like everyone else had too.

I think that something needs to change. PvP spins need to be taken out and the gold needs to get increased or rares need to no longer show up in pvp spins or something.

I mean, You can't actualy farm PvP right?
Everybody brings their topdecks with them, so the chance on winning is to smaal to "farm" it reliable.
The time that you get an easy win (newbies), your oppponent mostly doesn't have any rares.

Also, you say that you hate farmers. Nobody forbids you to build a counter-farming deck or something like that.

I think it's laughably pathetic that some people can't get their rares any other way, but as long as Zanz doesn't mind it happening, then neither do I.  To paraphrase a quote from a fellow player in another online game I play about similar tactics there, "all players who pvp farm to get their rares should have to play with pink backgrounds visible to everyone."

I would like to see rares be something that only skilled players can get, but the genie's clearly out of the bottle on that one.  Zanz can always make the next set of whatever kind of rare/new thing be harder to get, and let rares be not that rare.  The arena design definitely helped with that, as even with the (IMO bad) -1 reduction to number of needed spins to get a rare, it's still harder to get rares than it was in the old t50.

Zanz should post details about how to hack elements to get all the rares, and then delete everyone who actually does it.  Then we'd get rid of all those types of players

PvP farming - 2 people decide to farm each other. Player A gets a deck with 18 Pillars and 6-6 rares and player B gets a rush. They queue PvP2 at the exact same time and (usually) meet each other (otherwise, retry). The winner wins rares. After B gets a full set, they reverse roles.

And before you say anything about me being one of the pvp farmers, I did happen to grind for entire days (more or less) to get my sets of shards. Also, do tell us how you'd introduce "skill."

Getting all the shards is less of how skilled you are and more of how lucky you are at reels and having enough time to go through all the plat decks searching for the rare you want.

That's exactly my point.  Rares right now aren't hard to get, even without resorting to cheap tricks like pvp farming, and it's just about who played for the most time as to who has the most.  I don't have any real suggestion of how to introduce more skill, but I'm all ears.  As for copying decks from the forum, most of them are suboptimal and can be improved upon, so that won't exactly help :p

Personally it makes me angry when i played and got all my rares the right way from arena. Then ill have 9-10 people in an hour ask me to set up a farm? Like really.

It really aggravates me when new players feel they are entitled to rares because we have them.

That's why you have to decide who you want to help out, Generally I only help players I known for a long time and is a regular in chat that needs no more then 3 of "X" rare.
