PVP Autodowngrade Option

I like this idea it goes along with the BL and CL button idea.  Add a poll to this.

Its just that the effort to make a whole new PvP server and code for 1 type of card that wont even be needed that much due to several tournaments wont even allow the usage of the nymphs in question.

This is why I greatly oppose.

Would you be able to reupgrade it?  This is needed for nymphs, but not for other cards.

I support this idea, which not only affects the 12 nymphs, but the other 15 rare cards too.

For example: Your favorite deck is a pharoah/flying discord deck, and you want to use it in the tourney. Unfortunately, you only have 5 pharoahs/discords and you upgraded them all. Now you are forced to use a deck that you don't like as much as your pharoah deck or your flying discord deck, and you lose in the first round.

I could make almost 30 other situations like that.

This seems like it would be easy to code, but I don't yet have any experience in coding so correct me if I'm wrong.

doing the code from scratch would take some work, but Zanz already knows how to choose to downgrade the cards since he already does it in another place.

Game suggestions should only focus on one thing. Helping out the game. Not Coding. Zanz decides what he wants to do. Mine as well suggest something and let him decide if he should take the time to do it instead of us choosing whether he should take the time for it or not. Even though it would only help out for tournaments, that means it would still help out. And testing unupped decks it would also help as well. Especially for rare weapons.

And adding in an option to downgrade cards would require a lot more work than adding this.

I agree whole-heartedly. A downgrade button would also correct for any "mistakes" you may have made in a night of passionate love to a Mark card.

I say "Huzzah!! The Downgrader!!"

I'm not sure what Rastafla is talking about with tournament formats that forbid nymphs. I don't think there's been one yet >_<.

Anyway, I support this idea.

I think Rasta's point about confused people does not relate at all to the matter at hand (though they ARE annoying).

I really like the idea of PvP1 duel. I don't think you need a separate server to do it.
Also, the code to autodowngrade your deck is already there.

I have exactly ONE arsenice, which is upped, and I really miss it in tournaments.

This would be great indeed, no more need to get 12 of every rare, or even worse nymph/mark, to be able to make decks for any tournament out of the cards you own.

Punishing people for investing time and ingame currency to improve cards, shouldn't be the intention.

Making the proposed duel types should be easy from a coding perspective, the pvp1 opponent field would simply be replaced by  [Name] rather then *Random*.
