It takes a LOT of games against the AI to get in the top 50.

And I don't PvP at all because of all the bugs/desync issues. It's just more aggravating than fun right now.

I hope someday there is a "game score" and a "PvP rank" as seperate scores, but for now I'd be happier to see the QT bug fixed and a few new cards...

I find that it would be better if the score will not change when fighting an AI player.
Indeed, the score is not representative of the deck power.
The score should change only with fight between players.

That may be the reason about why there is player with thousand of thousand points. They play a lot with dummy AI in real or with bots.

Furthermore, the top50 player are not the best player but the player who win more often again the gods for example.
That 's a reason for why we can find exclusively rainbow deck in the top 50.

----
Maybe we can also create level groups of player (depending on the score) for a better experience with PVP with a classement for each level.

----
An other problem I saw with top 50 is players that change their deck just before they disconnect.
I saw deck with 30 pillars or 30 rares in the top 50.
The deck that the AI should have must be the last deck which have made a match against Elemental > 3, pvp or false god. That is a solution but not the only one.

No newb will simply make t50 in a few days, unless you count monday whene not all players have submitted. The gap keeps growing. you gettin there so fast  just shows how good you are. I do agree that any newb can copy a deck from the forums and grind there way in after a while. thene again what use would this game have as the fun comes from creating your own kind of deck and trying new ways out. :-\

no score vs ai would defnitly destroy this game as it is built this way and would need a totall chang around. Also most t50 are the best players. They been playing the game enough to know the game inside and out. An extra pvp point system would be nice thing to have and hopfully can be implemented in the game in the future.

I have to agree with OP and disagree with you. I doubt most top-50 are the best players. Most of them just have a lot of TIME. If you grind False Gods every day, you will get into top-50 no matter how good of a player you are.

Take me for example. When I started fighting False Gods, I found myself in top-10 in a matter of days, although I had done very little PvP, and would have probably been owned in duels.

There should be PvE and PvP scores, and the top-50 should be determined by your PvP score.

Well you said it yourself there that you found yourself in top ten in days. You are very good at building decks and I doubt you would have any problems in pvp now since you have been around long enough and can easily put a deck together that can compete without wasting a thought. That is how it is for me. Played so many diffrent decks and know what I would need in pvp. after a certain amount of time you know the quirks of all cards and since t50 are made up of people putting lots of time in you can expect theme to be tops in that too. I´m pretty much talkin for myself though so anyone could be right.

/agreed

Beating an AI that needs to bend the rules to even be a challenge is no way to attain a score. You already benefit with coins and cards. The scores should come from beating others in PvP.

As it stands right now. You can exploit the AI's dumb tactics to attain a high rank and that's not how it should be. Score systems should be based on player skill not on who has the biggest lack of a real life and grinds false gods all day.

So you're saying not spending many hours playing the game is a better indicator of skill?
I think you've missed my point. I'm saying exploiting bad AI mechanics all day for points is a bad indication of skill. Playing humans? Not so much.

It took me a couple weeks. I had set a goal of earning 1000 points a day and played until I got at least that much- many days I got far more. If I had more perseverance/time I could have done it faster.

What's your IGN? I've never played against a "Scaredgirl" deck. Not knowingly!

Giving no score for the AI matchs is not the best idea. It's a good idea, securly grounded, but still, zero score for beating the false gods? We can have the score scale down as we fight with the AI more, until it reachs either zero or another like-wise low point, and you could revive gaining score from AI by fighting a match in PvP, but seriously, play 1,000 games against AI while building your deck because of how unbalanced and buggy PvP is and getting no score. That's just a bit much for me. Besides, grinders are better than hackers.

As it is right now, just ask people in Meebo chat who knows what they are doing. There is almost always a veteran player in the room.
