With the concern regarding promoting non-rainbow decks.

I would suggest, rather than further destroying the effectiveness of rainbows, promote non-rainbow deck building.

As a newbie I am having a tough time building an efficient deck.  Some of the best (affordable for newbies) farming decks (level 3, top 50) are non-rainbow, or speed decks.  These are not always effective to start upgrading with the aim on false god challenging.

In order to help level the playing field with tougher challenges facing new players today (in deck building), I would propose altering the cost for upgrading mono producing pillars only.  If quantum pillars produce 3 quanta, and cost 1500 to upgrade (a fair cost) then it stands to my reasoning that mono producing pillars should perhaps cost 1/3 (500 coins?) of the cost of the more popular quantum towers.

I believe this would help offset the increased difficulty in version 1.21 for a new member (tougher AI & FG not to mention fully upgraded decks in top 50) to begin to dream of challenging the tougher decks before despair begins to set in, and interest is lost in an awesome game.

Kudos to the developer and all the contributors that have made Elements great.

This is just my suggestion for improving the enjoyment for newer players. Thanks.

I think this is a sound idea. Im all for improving monodecks and making those towers cheaper will certainly make it easier to build decks for newbies.
The cost is too cheap though. 1000 for monotowers is more reasonable to me but i don't have the statistics to make a fair approximation.

False gods are not meant to be newbie friendly and they are supposed to require specialized decks at least that is what I've been told before when discussing this.

What a stupid idea.  Why don't you just play 8 hours a day for the rest of the year and you will be able to upgrade everything that you want to. :))
Please don't call someone stupid when all they are trying to do is to come with suggestions even if it may be a joke on your part.

[sarcasm] Nice first post. [/sarcasm]

In response to the suggestion, I don't think it will happen. Besides, upgraded pillars aren't as great as you think. They are helpful, sure, but you can do almost as well against AI3/5 with normal pillars.

I never give negative karma, but I've already considered doing it twice today, both to newbies.

I guess you're the kind of no-lifer who grind 25 hours a day, 8 days a week.

Pillars and Towers are a staple of most decks... We can all agree there.

I also beleive Pillars should have the cost decreased for upgrading.
1/3rd of the cost (500E) does seem a little TOO low, but 1000 sounds much better.

If your making an upgraded rainbow, you probably have cash to burn, rainbows will probably always be the god-killing high-level decks, and mono/duo decks will typically be for the lower players who can't afford to build upraded rainbow decks (this is disregarding PVP of course) so why not decrease the cost of upgrading one so the players can get to the "meat" of the game that little bit easier?

Honestly, Im not sure what to think. I feel it would be noob-friendly, but as said above:

So thats what makes me wonder...Would this take the skill required in beating FGs and crush it? D:

Chuckles4me just so happens to be my brother.  We had discussed this issue for a while before he decided to write this post.  When, after several days, nobody had replied,  I decided to write a tongue in cheek response.  It was more an inside joke between the two of us than anything else.  I note this, not as an excuse, but as an explanation.  I apologize if I offended anybody.

Also I probably play an average of an hour a day.  What with work, family, and other obligations that is about all I have.  That is actually part of what started this whole thing.

"Inside joke"? It sure didn't look like an inside joke to me. That's something to think about, if you don't want people to misunderstand you all the time.

I must agree with BloodShadow here. It didn't look like a joke at all and to ridicule someone on a forum is never a good thing it will just make you look bad. Among friends/family its okay since you know each other but here where almost everyone looking at your post will be a stranger.

Idk, I thought it was pretty obvious that it was a joke, but me and my friends make jokes like that all the time. As for the suggestion,
/off topic

I do think not all cards should cost 1500 to upgrade, regular pillars being one of them. Do I think it will be implemented, not really, but i do still support the idea.

I apologize for any misunderstandings this inside joke may have caused.  I did not think anyone was still reading my post.  I want to thank those who came to my defense, there are still people out there who care about others.

As for the skill needed for false gods I don't believe this suggestion to take away any from the skill needed to challenge the false gods. Simply to make the game more compatable for the newbies and casual players.

Pillars other than Quantum Towers should cost less to upgrade, I agree with the suggestion.
