Option to cancel "throw away card"

The thing is, for every time that that's done by accident, there are a bunch of times where it'd just be an annoyance. I've done it too, but having to corroborate every time that you did indeed mean to end your turn with eight cards in hand would get tiresome quickly.

Ive accidentally pressed "done" (spacebar) a few times when I wasnt paying attention (yes yes I was playing at work..hehe) and thus I had to throw away a card even though I could have played one instead.

I think it would be a good feature if the game would ask if the player really wants to throw away a card (yes/no answer) before the player have to select a card to discard.

It doesn't have to be annoying. Instead of getting the message "Choose card to discard" (or whatever it is), change it to "Click card to discard, or click anywhere else to cancel".

i dont agree with most of these replies. i understand that sometimes your rushed and ave little time to think of what you are doing so you do what comes natural and hit the space button. ive had that happen to me several times. and i agree with the topic. happy grinding^_^

It's just an interface operation, so there's no harm in reversing it. And unlike using abilities or cards, there's no way to add a penalty to canceling it.

no, its not as easy as that, when your hand twitches, or something and you mistakenly hit the space bar. thats one of my problems, i get comfortable, then while im using my turn, my thumb, or a finger will twitch, making me hit the space bar. "keep your hand away from the space bar till your ready then" ya, i try... but it ends up back in that spot. its a habit to keep my hand there. yes, i agree, a confirmation for turn end would be annoying. but it would save people from making those small mistakes that may or may not cost them the match.

your opponent has 18 health left, you have your dragon, an abomination, and a weapon. in total doing 17 damage. your able to summon a creature that will do 1 damage. and win the match. but oops, you accidentally hit the space bar, ending your turn. you had 2 points left. and your opponent wins. you lose gold, and score points. and who knows. that loss could have been avoided if you would have had a confirmation asking if you want to end your turn. but because you didnt, your pissed, cursing the game. because you could have won if it didnt just instantly end your turn.. and you will be wishing there was a confirmation that would have saved you from the loss

I tend to be an idiot who killed myself by doing this once (okay i'm just suppressing the other times) and you have my full backing for this idea. It shouldn't be to hard to implement into the game, they already have cancel for spells and abilities.

I definitely support this option, and it could easily be unobtrusive: Just add a cancel option to the screen that says "You have 8 cards in your hand. Select the card you want to discard"

I've already had to sacrifice so many useful cards in my haste...

nice idea, i often click on "next turn" only to realize i could have played another card.    ;P
