Option: Remove animations from standard play too https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=1778.msg15532#msg15532

I believe this option to remove animations from standard play, showing just the effects would be useful. It causes bugs such as the RoF bug, lag on slow computers, not to mention being a time saving device in general.

I understand new players need animations. As a veteran player, I hope that the option is given to us to disable animations. For example, I don't need to read for the 500th time what a quantum pillar does, I see it every time in the slots. =p

Update: After seeing zanzarino's comments about his new animation-less spectator mode feature, (thanks again zanz!) I believe this option could take little work to implement. Support pls!  =)

Should be possible, I agree. And it strains your computer less.

Yes, this feature should defiantly be implanted into the game, but to compensate there should be a text box with logs  of what happened in the past turn so you wont be all WTF where did my 50/45 lava golem go. From experiance of playing this game on the slower school/work computers, the game tends to drag its heels when either you or your opponent has more than 15 creatures on the screen. Plus all the gaining quantum from your towers and the (+1,+1,+1,+1s from your firefly's) and all the healing done can take up to 20 seconds just to end a turn. Adding this feature will also drastically reduce grinding time.
