Give some use to the Relics and unupgraded Shards

Lottery. Less time and effort  8) .

But the fact is, that for me, I've already pretty much worked my way up and already own a company worth 1 billion (me and those like me are just working towards 6 of each upped card now). So playing the lottery every day and hoping to win is a lot more fun that going back and doing it again.

Dunno whats really the problem about spending like 3 relics to get another oracle roll, once a day. Would nymphs become easy to get? Of course they wouldnt. 3 relics are something you most probably couldnt get every day. And even when you get the extra spin, what are your chances? And to get the nymph you need?

Well, maybe oracle rolls arent the better use, but anyway, I think relics should have a use. Like the dead unupped shards. Those RARE cards selling for 5 is simply a shame. Coulndt at least sell for 150, like a weapon? Also liked the idea about they having a minor effect, compared to the upped versions.

About a quarter of T50 decks are farms at any given time. Let's say half of those would become Relic farms because people want nymphs. A Relic farm can give you a 100% chance of spinning a Relic, so that'd be three Relics (=one Oracle visit) per farm visit. Assuming a 4% nymph win rate that'd be one nymph per two hundred T50 matches. Then some people would be complaining how long it takes to grind six of each nymph while others would be complaining how "rare" cards aren't rare at all. Sound familiar?

While we are allowed to do just 1 extra oracle roll per day, and assuming that you use it everyday (dont really think most people could do that everyday), how many years until you get 3 of each nymph? Im not really using the proper math, but Im supposing its like 2 years to get 3 of each nymph, isnt about it? And we still need to consider that, each time new cards are added, lower are your chances.

Hmm I overlooked the once a day part... but I don't see the point of this. I mean, if the nymph win rate is too low then why not just double it (remove the "cheat" chance from the code)? Instead of requiring you to login every day the proposed change here would require you to login every day and farm T50 every week. Not exactly harder or anything, just an extra time investment required if you want to have as many nymphs as others.

Probably already been said but Relics and unupgraded Shards do have a use: Unlike all other spells (except empty-slot Animate Weapon) they do not vanish from your hand when played.  This allows you to remove excess quanta denying your opponent health or .  Now, if you suggest that that it is underpowered--that is the point.

I'm curious if he would be opposed in principle to giving relics a purpose that doesn't allow you to grind nymphs.

Yes, he is.

The only good way to get relics is to spin them from a farm.  Zanz will not encourage farms.

Well just make it harder. Trade in a set of 2 green shards, 2 blue shards and 2 relics for one oracle visit maybe. Alternatively I was suggesting on the chat earlier than trading in 12 upped relics for a random upped nymph might be a way to reward players who already have a stash of upped cards and still continue to play.

This would be a much better idea then the original. One shard or relic for one trip to the Oracle is just way too easy.
