this discussion is endless :P
you really think is fun that a card that says : "deal 5 damage to a single target" IN FACT deals only 3 damage to blue creatures?
WHY?
it's nonsense :P
i know, next time i play i'll have an advantage over a new player that will use his card on my 5 HP blue creature, that will still remain smiling with its 2HP left after the bolt :D :D
??? where does that happen?

It happens when newbies use RoF on my immaterial creatures... and I've had that happen several times.

Shields Have special Rulings that circumvent Shield Text.

1. Shields Always prevent damage from Physical Sources Only unless Stated Otherwise and do so by reducing any positive Atk by the damage reduction to a minimum of 0. In the case of an Evasion shield, the value is simply set to 0 if the Trigger chance is rolled.
2. Creatures that have Atk less than or equal to the damage prevention value of a Shield do not trigger a Shield Response. This Includes 0 and negative attack creatures.

If there are any other stuffups on card text, note them in the Bug section.

Maybe. I've played card games for 15+ years and there always seem to be rule exceptions.
The Mtg Bible is several hundred pages on top of the rule book, I don't think Zanz  has time to maintain a Rules guide and develop the game.
Maybe the Wiki community can find a spot for wierd things that are not always obvious.
