i think with 6 it is just too random, and instead of breaking them up into the good vs. evil you seem to be fond of (no offense intended) they should be broken up into groups where the elements compliment each other, gravity and earth work well together, and so does gravity and fire.
I have to agree here. Elements that synergy well should be grouped together.

Problems with generating 2 from 6 is that in general case you are getting a particular element every 3 turns whereas quantum pillars is a specific every 4 turns. This make your new pillar more powerful than the quantum pillar as you are much much closer to generating the required quanta with no offset. If these pillars are free a rainbow deck of the 6 defined elements becomes the power play. If limited to 6 and Quantum Pillars reduced to 6 also it might work well.
There's a big difference between a rainbow deck that can use 12 different elements and a rainbow deck that can use only 6 elements. All elements are different, and when you are limited to 6 elements, there are some cards that are not available to you. For example if you take an Otyugh, you cannot take Quintessence.

This is why the new Pillar type I talk about here gives a particular element more frequently.
There isnt a real difference between 6 and 12 when it comes to rainbow. Most decks only use 12 because their quanta generation is producing extra they have an option to use. The only reason I use Feral bond in my deck is because I have life quanta to spare and could easily sub in another shard. The only reason I use miracle or permafrost shield is the same. Reducing to 6 elements makes my deck more efficient. If I need an off element I can add that from a mark or pillar. I would quite happily run 50% Aether pillars and 50%!st new pillar to motivate a Otyugh Firefly deck faster than current rainbow with delay and protection from the Aether cards. I could also run a Mutant / Alphatox deck using the 2nd new pillar subbing in time towers for eternity. 12 Element Rainbow is weaker than 7 element rainbow.

The idea will split probably generate 2 new deck types if it was to be created tho.

I have a catalog of ideas under testing atm with an Article called "Quantum Mechanics" when I have finished testing the content to a point that I find releasable I will post it in the card ideas forum.

If there was the capability for a private forum with which select members could participate I would like to work with others to bring it up to near perfect quality.

I think you're referring to my suggestion.

My reasoning for suggesting 4 quanta had something to do with countering the flood of new cards that bash rainbow decks that is around the courner (I know it! cmonn...), but that's hardly an argument against it being OP.

Anyways, since it's at least very simmilar to my idea, agree!
