Wow, it´s awesome. It´s like Final Fantasy and I disagree with SG, I think this intro music fits perfectly and maybe her pump music fit´s when you are battling FGs.

The piano intro makes you relax after a stressing work day and prepare your decks to have fun.

i'm sorry... i don't like the new music... at all. 

i think the old music is far superior and i miss it.   

I don't think the new music sucks or anything like that, I just don't think it is a good intro music. It's not a piece of music that would pump you up and want you to register. It's also too much like elevator music, in a way that it lacks a clear identifiable melody. I have a feeling that if I heard the melody 1000 times, I could not remember anything about it the next day.

Like I said before, it would be great as a "calm before the storm" music, maybe in the Elements lobby, or maybe as a background in an upcoming  storyline screen or something.

I personally would go with something had more of the "cool" factor, and less of the "beautiful ballad" factor. But Zanz makes these decisions and I'm sure he knows what he is doing.

imagine a lobby, now image a lobby playing the intro of this game. now imagine being a person who is looking to sign up for the "company." now imagine on your first day, you get thrown into a war you know absolutely nothing about, after which you find out just what it meant. THEN your thrown into a bunch of tournaments. now imagine getting bashed on by people in pvp for being a nub. now imagine just saying, "wow, this sucks...AWESOME!!" (3 years later) DAMNIT!! I CANT QUIT. its just too addicting T.T....

An accountant is effected but shouldn't be asked because the company isn't trying to sell a product to them. It's more like the company taking a poll of the customer to see what they like.

It was said that zanz would listen to community feedback, there is no harm in this.

People created this thread to express their ideas about the intro music, and discussion seems to have gravitated towards what should be where and such. a Poll is basically just a more organized version of this.

That post by me is not supposed to mean that all feedback is prohibited. I mainly talk about forum events and letting staff members run them in peace without constant harassment by individuals who think they know better.

New music is part of Elements the game, therefore it's totally different and people are of course allowed to give feedback and start polls. I could set up a poll about this new music but I don't think there is any point in that. It wouldn't give any good data because of one reason: people were not given enough options. It's kind of like having a presidential election with only one candidate. That candidate is unopposed so he/she will win no matter what.

A. Old music (that everyone has been listening to for the past year)
B. New music

Now which one do you think the general public will pick?

Of course they will go with the new one because they are bored with the old one and like the change. I have no doubt in mind that if this piano version was first and guitar came later, we would have posts like: "Wow, that new smooth guitar is awesome!".

It's the same thing with the new art. When Zanz made the poll, all new art won by a landslide. Every single one of them. It raises the question: was all that new art so much better, or did people simply vote for the new ones because they like change?

Even though I think the new music isn't good intro music, even I feel that it's refreshing after listening to that guitar for a year. That's human nature. We get bored and want a change.

Had we been given an option C or D, people might have totally different opinions. But since the only other option is the old guitar, it's no surprise that most people are excited.

Perhaps I was not clear, In my response I was saying that not all user feedback was prohibited.

I'm also not suggesting such a jejune poll. I heard many other music ideas such as where to put the new music, revert back to the old music, put the new music in the menu, or do all sorts of other things. I am merely suggesting a poll as a more organized way to gather this information.

Same goes for the music. I hope any future music is serious and not reminiscent of other games... (not insulting the song or jmizzle, I think it's good.)

Justin Carpenter's melody has been around since the beginning with Zanzarino's game. I did not want to write something completely new, because the "Elements theme" would be lost. I am flattered that I have reminded so many people of Final Fantasy, although it wasn't my intention. However, I sincerely hope that people wouldn't think that the music isn't serious. What does that even mean? lol...

Yeah in retrospect I am not sure either. Your music is serious. You know how when you watch a scifi movie you are totally into it and then there is some small detail that seems unbelievable and annoying despite the fact that if you step back the whole movie is not really based on science. My point is that if in the movie they break their own universal laws, it seems weird but if they stick to their laws, however strange, it seems alright.

So by serious I guess I mean something that fits the existing elements universe.

It's the same melody and harmony as the old music. Just reworked with different instrumentation.

I desagree. It´s not it´s new that people will like. I like lot´s of 80´s and 90´s music and it´s not we are at 2010 that i have to like the new songs. Nowadays, for me, new songs suck. Rock is not like was one day. It´s my taste.
The new art are better because are more detailled, more sophisticated, more powerfull, more professional. The old pillars seemed be made by a child, with that clouds. Like many other older cards, that need a refresh on the art, not about the figure, but more definition, more live colors.

What i´m trying to say is that people get annoyed about old stuff like you said, but not all.
